WILLIAMS Staff Writer I A WELLS Northwest basketball coach Perry Elkins has a couple of reservations concerning the upcoming regional tournament in which his Texans will play after Tuesday night's fi7- 52 bi-district win over Brecken ridge. "As I remember, they have the tournament all one day. That means we'll play Saturday morning and, if we win, again Saturday afternoon.

Two games in one day is tough on any team, but especially on one that plays run-and-gun and presses on defense, which we do." When someone mentioned Hughes Springs, Elkins said, "Maybe we won't have to play them." The Mustangs are defending state champs in Qass AA, and promise to be just as tough this year as last.
