Girls from all four levels of the Scouting program participated. Honored were six graduating members of Senior Troop No. 69, who, with their leader, Mrs. Elmer Schroeder, have been together for 10 years. They are Cathy Burgess, Sandra Grote, Mary Hyland, Sheryl Liewer, Linda Schroeder and Joyce Schulte.

Donald Jones presented badges to four St. Lawrence girls who have been members of her troop. Ten sixth grade girls who Softball game and a membership dance, it was announced at a meeting Thursday night at the KG Hall. The hootenanny will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 21, at the Breda shelter house and will include a wiener roast, Larry Feld, social activities chairman, announced.

The softball game will be June 10 in Dedham and will be followed by a street dance uptown. The membership during the group's first year was 217, Pam Ries, membership chairman said. The new membership drive is on and will culminate in a membership dance June 2 at the Elks Club. Graduating seniors will be invited to attend. Reservations are still open for the proposed weekend outing July 7-9 at Lake Okoboji.

Tom Schapman, president, conducted the meeting. The program included one of a series, "Snow in Summer," concerning dope addiction. Lunch was served by the committee, Miss Ries, Mary Fehring and Audrey Sporrer. The next meeting at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 15, will be the annual election of officers.

Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Schroeder, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hansen, Mrs.

Hilda Schroeder, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schroeder, Tom and David; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Ahrendsen and Linda.

Children of Mrs. Bess Ramsey gathered at the Arlo Hodne home on Mother's Day. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ramsey, Mr.

and Mrs. Orrin Ramsey, Mrs. Mary Ramsey, Mr. and Mrs. Orla Peters, Mr.

and Mrs. Ed Ramsey, Mr. and Mrs. Maybum Ramsey, Mr. and Mrs.

Charles a Manning; Mr. and Mrs. Hugo with his parents to Manilla, and later, to Coon Rapids. His marriage to Anna Sivertsen took place at Milford Feb. 14, 1912.

They farmed in Audubon County near Viola Center until retiring and moving to Dedham in 1944. For the last six months Mr. and Mrs. Lengemann have made their home in Carroll with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs.

Louis Wiskus. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Dedham. Surviving are his wife; his daughter, Mrs. Wiskus (Irene); three grandchildren, five great- grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Vina Olesen of Coon Rapids; and a brother, Bernard Lengemann, Manning.

Five brothers and one sister preceded him in death. JUDD H. HERWEG Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the First Methodist Church for Judd Herman (Jack) Herweg, 67, of Carroll. The Rev.

D. Merle Hill, pastor of the church, officiated. Organ selections were played by Mrs. Donald Severin. Pallbearers were Robert Truelsen, Neil Caldwell, William Bennett, Norman Hutcheson, Robert Munger and Robert Calvert.

Burial was in the Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington, where the Rev. Mr. Hill conducted graveside rites at 5:30 p.m. A number of relatives and friends were present at the cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of the Dahn-Woodhouse Funeral Home of Carroll.

Mr. Herweg, retired technician for the Burroughs Corporation and a resident of this area since 1929, died at St. Anthony Hospital May 16. 19.25. Cattle calves none; Rev.
