Bell III, age 63, of Fort Collins, passed away on June 14, 2006, at Poudre Valley Hospital following a short battle with cancer. Jim was born May 13, 1943, in Emporia, to Emilie and James B. Bell Jr. He graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1962 and served in the U.S. Navy from 1962-1966.

He married Earlene Messimer on Dec. 27, 1966. Jim is survived by his wife, Earlene; daughter, Kristine; mother, Emilie; sister, Jane Matkin; nephews Travis and Todd (Lindsey) Matkin; and great-niece Delaney, all of Fort Collins. He was preceded in death by his father, James Bell and uncle, Raymond Overpeck. Jim was employed at Colorado State University in central receiving and retired in 2003.

Jim will always be remembered for his kindness and sense of humor and his love of Colorado State athletics as well as all other sports. He enjoyed golfing, traveling with his family and reading. Jim enjoyed the company of his many friends and had a soft spot in his heart for all animals. A memorial celebration of his life will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Harmony Presbyterian Church in Fort Collins.

He was a veteran in the U.S. Army during WWII and later became a sales engineer for Delavan Manufacturing Company, W. Des Moines, Iowa. He was a member of Shepard of the Hills Lutheran Church, Fountain Hills, and member of the Masonic Lodge. Survived by wife, Dagmar Esbensen of Rio Verde, son, John Esbensen of Fort Collins; daughters, Vicki Esbensen of Tonto Verde, and Susan Shafer of Phoenix, Ariz.

Services are pending. Contributions to Hospice of Arizona, 2222 Northern Phoenix, Ariz. 85021. Denny Horner Denny Horner, 59, of Springfield, passed away Dec. 27, 2005, in Nashville, Tenn.

Cremation followed his funeral service in Champaign, where most of his family still resides. Denny was born Nov. 16,1946, in Denver to Shelby L. and Lois A. Horner of Paxton, Ill.

He married Virginia (Mabis) Horner on Jan. 28, 1968, in Paxton, Ill. Denny is survived by his wife, Virginia of Springfield, mother, Lois Horner of Homer, his son, Shelby (Carrie) Horner of Springfield, an honorary son, Mark Smith of Denver; and one grandchild, Kelsey. Denny's father, Shelby L. Horner, preceded him in death.

Denny worked in the Fort Collins area for Walker Manufacturing Company for close to years. He was working at his time of death as a technician for ATM Solutions in Nashville, Tenn. He also had worked as an officer of the courts under Roberson Sheriff Department in Springfield, Tenn. Please come and join the families of Charles Burns Mabis and Denny Lee Horner at Resthaven Funeral Home located between Fort Collins and Loveland from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday and celebrate their lives at a Charlie and Denny were brothers-inlaw of the Mabis family and were longtime residents in the Fort Collins and Loveland areas.

Details: Help stock Hospice of Larimer County's Pathways Teach- Charlie Mabis Charlie Mabis, 47, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away Oct. 17, 2005. Cremation followed his funeral service in Des Moines. Charlie was born Sep. 22, 1958, in Paxton, to Harry E.

and Betty J. (Young) Mabis. He married Lucille Blake on Aug. 28, 1999, in Loveland. Charlie is survived by his wife, Lucy of Des Moines; father, Harry Mabis of Drake; two stepchildren, Chris (Doug) Van Pelt and Wendy (Jeremy) Gaumer and four step grandchildren of Des Moines; four brothers, Eddie, Roy, Harvey (Sherry) of Fort Collins and Billy of Rantoul, three sisters, Virginia (Denny) Horner of Springfield, Nilia Walter (Ken) of Fort Collins and Becky (Trevor) Shannon of Denver.

Charlie's mother, Betty Mabis, preceded him in death. Charlie worked in the Fort Collins and Loveland areas for many years with his father at Harry's Red Carpet Auto Sales. He was working at the time of his death managing a Firestone store in Des Moines. Kelly, 84, of Fort Collins, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2006, in Fort Collins. Cremation will be completed, and private services will be held at a later date.

James Linley Kelly was born on July 18, 1921, in Akron, the son of James Easley and Ethel (Romjue) Kelly. He worked for his family in their grocery store, making deliveries. James graduated from Akron High School in 1939. He later joined the United States Navy where he served as an Aviation Machinist Mate in Midway and Guam during World War II. It was there that he met the love of his life, Marjorie (Kay) C.

After the war, they traveled across the United States to visit family and continued visiting them throughout 5 his life. After four years of service in 1 the Navy, KELLY James went to the Fred Archer Photo School in Southern California. He then went on to work for Hamilton Beach in Racine, for 11 years. He also dabbled in real estate. Most will remember James for his 22 years of service with the United States Post Office when he was a postal carrier in the downtown Fort Collins area.

He retired in 1981 and said that was the job he had always been looking for. He and his loving wife spent the remainder of their retirement in Missouri before returning to Colorado in 1983. James enjoyed photography, fishing and had an avid interest in guns. He loved woodworking and the time he spent in his shop with his kids. He had a 1954 vintage Duplex firetruck that he enjoyed.

James also loved to sit on the deck swing and watch the sunset and share time with loved ones. James was preceded in death by his parents and wife. He is survived by his sons, Tom Kelly and wife Lorraine of Renton, and Mike Kelly and wife Anita of Fort Collins; daughters, Pat Flood and husband Richard of Cheyenne, Barb Joiner and husband Bennie of Fort Collins and Paula Cook and husband Donnie of Driggs, Idaho, and their families. Also surviving is his sister, N. Maurine Lane of Fort Collins, as well 11 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.

"Dad is now back with the love of his life Kay." We will miss his quick wit, infectious sense of humor and unconditional, nonjudgmental love. Earl Manzanares Earl Manzanares, 45, of Fort Collins, died on Thursday, June 15, 2006, at his home. He was born on Oct. 29, 1960, i in Pueblo to his loving parents, Robert and Orlie Manzanares.

Earl lived in the Fort Collins MANZANARES area for over 30 years and worked as an auto body technician. He loved what he did and it showed in the quality of everything he worked on. His passions included hunting, fishing, and being with family and friends. His laugh is a legend that will be missed and the memories he leaves behind will be cherished forever. A rosary will be held at 7 p.m.

Tuesday at Holy Family Church in Fort Collins. We will unite with him one last time on earth for a funeral service to say our goodbyes at 10 a.m. Wednesday, also at Holy Family Church. He is preceded in death by his father, I Robert Manzanares. Survivors include his loving mother, Orlie Manzanares of Fort Collins; brother, Horacio Manzanares of Pampa, Texas, and Ralph Manzanares of Loveland; sisters, Liz Roediger of Fort Collins, Irene Garcia of Pueblo, and baby sister, Julie Pando of Fort Collins.

He also leaves to mourn his passing two godsons, J.J. Garcia of Pueblo and Robert Pando of Fort Collins, along with a sister-in-law, three brothers-in-law and multiple nieces and nephews.
