The Carnival I he Parker Shows Give First Exhi- bition Monday Night. There arc street shows and street J3OW3, good, bad and worse, 'i'hc Par- lcr fchows which are now exhibiting in Huron belong to tlic lirst class. The Jrst exhibition of these shows was given llonday night and the attendance was up to expectations and all agree in I raising! 1m various exhibitions. I The free attractions are pleasing and laosc who pass the tented doors get their Jioney's worth. Probably the most interesting enter- liinment is Parker's Animal Circus.

Iliis is a new feature in the carnival Justness and comprises a three ring cir- lus with everything but the aeiial aero- fats and track. When the ierfornianee begins a big oil Jointed curtain running the whole Imgth of the tent rises and shows a big ron arena, an elevated stage and a reg- llar ring. The first act is that of Millie liracie and her trained birds. This is the Inly number that is performed alone. it is the best of ist kind.

Wllkesbarre. Two elevators on the Milwaukee were blown down and covered the tracks BO that traffic was stopped for a whole day. The ranch of Carpenter Sanborn suffered great damage, as many lately completed improvements amounting to about $100,000 were nearly destroyed. A peculiar fuel about the storm was that no one in the town was seriously injured and no one killed.
