The wedding will take place Aug. 5 at the First Methodist Church in Appleton City. Mark Dodge Is Party Honoree A party honoring the seventh birthday of Mark Dodge was held at Rothwell Park Saturday. Attending were: Tony Seath, John Reese, Bobby Hardy, Richard Schaffer, Laura Crain, Libby Brockman, Carol Ann Moore, Joyce Poertner, Kim Long, and Pam Jones, Sending gifts were Rodney Frazier, Steven Romjue, Anna and Dorothy Kappler and Mr. and Mrs.

Bennie Self. Juanlta Kennedy, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Elmo City, and Harry Gallup, Moberly, were married at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon In the United Penecostal Church. Hill, minister, performed the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated wilh floral arrangements. Mrs.

Hill provided mimic. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a floor-length turquoise blue KOWII. Her headpiece consisted ot a white veil and she carried a bouquet of white daisies. Her sister, Kathy Boer, Kansas City, was her attendant. She wore lloor-length white dress and carried an arrangement of flowers.

Jerry Patrick, Mobcrly, was best man. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Rex Hincs, 528 East Logaa The bride's three-tiered cake was topped with a bride and bridegroom and encircled with daisies. Following a trip to Oklahoma, the bride will return to Kansas City, where she is employed. She attended the Salisbury Schools.

Mr. Gallup attended the Moberly schools and is serving in the U. S. Army, stationed at Ft, Sill, Okla. Mrs.

Myers Retires Mrs. Eva Rupp Myeis, longtime cashier at the P. N. Hirsch and Co. store in Moberly, has retired.

Mrs. Myers ueganwork for the former Midway store in 1944 when J. W. Goldstein was owner. A year later, P.

N. Hirsch and Co. purchased the Midway store. Goldstein is now living in Pasadena, Calif. Mrs.

Myers, who retired July 1, missed only a few days of work be cause of illness. She is an active member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Upon her retirement, Mrs. Myers was presented a set of luggage with the hope that she would do some traveling, according to Al Tebow, manager of P. N. Hirsch.

Mrs. Myers lives at 205 South Morley. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Evans Stone Brenda Lee Lamberton Lamberton-Stone Wedding in Minnesota Miss Brenda Lee Lamberton of Chaska, became the bride of Walter Evans Stone, son of Mr.

and Mrs. James L. Stone, Moberly, June 3 in a double ring ceremony at the Shepherd of the Hill Presbyterian Church in Chaska The Rev. C. B.

Goodwin, pastor, performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl L. I-amberton of Chaska.

Miss Susan Lamberton of Chaska, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Roland Anderson Valley Park, served as best man. A buffet reception followed the ceremony. A yellow and white floral motif was used throughout the wedding and reception. After a wedding trip to northern Minnesota are! they will make their Baltimore, Md. The 10 graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia, where she received a BA in mathematics. The bridegroom, also a graduate of the University of Missouri has a BA in language and will be employed by the Department of Defense in Washington after July 15.

(Photo by Rob Vance, Miller's Studio) 1962 Moberly Graduates Meet The tenth year reunion of the Moberly High School graduating Class of 1962 was held June 24 at The Crossroads in Moberly. Fifty-six class members and guests were present.

Several former teachers also attended the social hour which preceded the dinner and program. The social hour was held in the breezeway at the Crossroads. Later, a buffet dinner was served. Huge crepe paper flowers and old snap shots were the decorations provided by a committee of class members living in St Louis. Tedford Florist provided the centerpiece for the head table.

Memory books were given as favors to all those who attended. Steve Power, former class president, presided over-the program which followed the dinner. Music for the reunion was provided by Thompson's Magnavox of Moberly, and Jefferson City. The Business Class at the Moberly Vocational School and the First Baptist Church were also recognized as having contributed to the success of the reuntoa Rob Vance of Miller's Studio took a photograph of the class members attending. A family picnic was held Sunday in Rothwell Park. Former teachers who attended the reunion were Mrs. Frank See, Miss Mary Sheahan and Miss Marjorie Hunter.

Raymond Staley opened the meeting with prayer and Bruce Hire led in the singing of patriotic songs. Ward Dennis led in each guest telling where their ancestors came from. Mrs. a Dennis gave "The History of Missouri" i questions on "What Do You Know About Missouri?" The history of Die flag was Hiven by II. T.

Havenor. Mrs. Ona Lang completed the program with an article, "Is it Possible to Wave the-Flag Too Much'" Dr. Joseph P. Grant, pastor, closed tlie meeting i a prayer.

and Mrs. Richard Dubree all of Moberly. Baby Shower Honors Mrs. Hill and Daughter Mrs. Bill Orr, the former Debbe Hill, and baby daughter, Beth, were honored Tuesday night with a baby shower at the home of Miss Doris Mulnix, 324 Jones.

Hostesses were Miss Mulnix, Miss Jane Hays and Mrs. Chuck DeWeese of Moberly, Mrs. Roger Lucas, Macon, and Mrs. Joe Ferguson, Columbia. Decorations of pink blue and lavender were carried out in a play pen, holding the gifts.

Games were played with prizes going to Miss Vickie Turner, Miss Resa Thornburg and Mrs. DeWeese who presented them to the baby girl. Refreshments of chocolate fondue were served. The guest list included Mrs. Daniel Jarvis, of Springfield, Mrs.

James Tindle of Salisbury, Mrs. Jerry Fleming, of Kansas City, Miss Carol Freeman, Miss Vickie Turner, Miss Diana Elliott, Miss Teresa Thornburg, Mrs. Steve Avery, Miss Nora Fredersdorff, Miss Karen Keath, Miss Rhonda Collins Mrs. Mike Clawson, Miss Martha Drake, Mrs. Bill Powers, and Miss Sue Brown, all of Moberly.

Smith Club Has Dinner, Meeting Eleven members were present when the Smith Happy Circle Club met Wednesday in the home of Mrs. Alford Shelby. A covered dish dinner was served, Mrs. Virginia Eubank led OU sin ging and the Rev. JoyTM Woods read scripture.

Business was conducted by the president, Mrs. Russell Spoils. Mrs. George William Burton led the program on Father's Day, assisted by Mrs. Ralph Potter, Mrs.

Shelby, and Mrs Virginia Eubank. Oames were played witn prized going to Mrs. Loudnda Moore, Mrs. Russell Spotta and Mrs. Moore received anniversary and birthday giftg Dinner guests were the Rev Mr.

Woods. Kalph Potter George William Burton, Alford and Kim and Kelly Shelby.
