ADVERTISING SUPPLEMENT TO THE SALINA JOURNAL SUNDAY, OCTOBER 13,1996, 7 f "WKOi-,,," 1 ' L ^r pot Programs - A Learning Experience As Programs Chairperson it is exciting and challenging to bring topics of value and interest to our professional group. The July 1996 year started with Doreen Harder/President, Kansas Association Life Underwriters speaking on the value of KALU. Our August meeting was very upbeat with John Roth from Eagle Broadcasting offering different marketing ideas, September was open to membership, our October speaker will be David Wentz, LUTCF from Olathe, KS. Topic will be Sales Ideas and Life Insurance Marketing. This will kick off our October membership drive. November, we will be honored to have a Million Dollar Round Table Qualifier, December is the annual awards banquet which has been held at the Salina Country Club. Our 1997 January meeting will be Multi- Lines. February plans call for a speaker from the Kansas Insurance Commissioners Office. March will focus on Retirement Planning, April is Disability Month, May will be Life Insurance Needs Concepts and June which is the end of our '96-'97 year we plan to have a speaker from KALU Office/ Board of Directors. The focus for the Program Director is to schedule programs for every meeting, to ensure that programs are coordinated with the association's other activities, and are of the highest quality to contribute to meeting the objectives of the Salina Association of Life Underwriters. It is a privilege and honor for an Insurance Agent to belong to an association that holds professionalism in high esteem, and strives to fulfill the needs of his or her clients to the best of their ability. "If your agent is not a member, ask them why?" This is an organization that believes in conducting business in such a way that he or she may help raise the professional standards of Life Underwriting and to adhere to professional standards of conduct in helping the client attain their financial security objectives.
