Born in Somerville to his mother, Joye (Hill) Smith, and late father, Arthur Smith, he had lived in Far Hills before settling in Bridgewater 23 years ago. He leaves behind his cherished Emily Ruth Adair, services Thursday BRIDGEWATER Emily Ruth Adair, born Feb.

5, 1983, passed away Saturday (Aug. 20, 2005) at her home in Bridgewater. At age 22, her Maker called her home. Emily was born at St. Peter's Hospital in New Brunswick.

She grew up in the small town of South Bound Brook, as an identical twin well known in the neighborhood. One of her favorite childhood hobbies was to bicycle down the streets as fast as she could, picking herself up again even after falling hard. The family moved to Bridge-water in 1992. Emmy later attended Bridgewater Raritan Regional High School, where she graduated in 2001. Emmy didn't like school, but everyone knew her as an intelligent and clever girl.

Emmy was a person who gave freely to others, caring more about their well being than her own. In her dad's words, she would give the shirt off her back if someone needed it.
