He also played on and helped organize the Manville Yellow Jackets Semi-Pro Football Team in 1929. Mr.

Golcheski was a member of the Manville Senior Citizens organization, and a member of Christ The King Roman Catholic Church in Manville. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Golcheski, in 1986. Surviving are two sons, Charles Golcheski Jr. of Hillsborough, and Robert Golcheski of Lynchburg, two daughters, Eleanore Mulligan of Readington, and Charolette Kiernan of New Egypt; 20 grandchildren and 30 greatgrandchildren. The funeral will begin 8:15 a.m.

(Kajewski) Sniezek, 86, entered eternal life on Thursday (June 5, 2003) at the Norwood Terrace Health Center in Plain-field, where she resided for the East seven years. Born in Eliza-eth, daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Kajewski, she was a lifelong resident of Plain-field.

Stephanie was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and politics. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her beloved husband, Stanley M. Sniezek, in 1996. Surviving are her loving daughter and son-in-law, Helen S. and Andy D.

Horun of Bridge-water; a dear sister-in-law, Dorothy Kajewski; three cherished grandchildren, Andrew M. Horun and wife, Charlotte, of Phillipsburg, Gregory J. Horun Sylvester John Glassic, ex PALMER TOWNSHIP, Pa. Sylvester John "John" Glassic, 74, died Friday (June 6, 2003) at his home. He was born on April 2, 1929, in Scranton, the son of the late Joseph Glassic and Mary Choker Glassic.

He had been employed by the Courier News in Bridgewater for 15 years, as a customer service representative until February. Prior to that he was employed by Wilson Freight Co. in Elizabeth for 15 years; and prior to that by U.S. Steel in Newark. Mr.

Glassic was a member of the Teamsters Local No. 560; the New Jersey Teamsters Retiree Club; and American Legion Post No. 739, Hok-endauqua. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Courier News employee He was married to his wife, Margaret "Marge" Smack Glassic, for 34 years last November. Also surviving are his son, Thomas Glassic of Bailey, two daughters, Carol Hamel of Anderson, S.C., and Marion Misero of Bethlehem, a brother, Gilbert Glassic of Palmer Township, his sister, Lillian Healey of Palmer Township, three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A memorial service will be announced by the Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton streets, Easton, Pa. Interment will be private. John F. Risoli, 83. World War II veteran BLUE RIDGE, Texas John F. Risoli, 83, died Wednesday (June 4, 2003) in his home in Blue Ridge, Texas. Born in South Plainfield, he was a lifelong resident, before moving to Blue Ridge, Texas, in 1986.

John and his wife purchased a 150-acre ranch and were raising cattle, and fanning. He was a former excavating contractor in the Plainfield area for many years, before retiring in 1986. John served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post No.

6763 in South Plainfield, where he served as the post's com-. mander three times. He and his brothers, along with many people, were instrumental in the construction of the present VFW Post in South Plainfield. He was a former member of Sacred Heart Church in South Plainfield, and was presently a Eucharist minister for St. Elizabeth's Church in Bonham, Texas.

John served on the South Plain-field Board of Education in the early 1970s. He was a former member of the South Plainfield Volunteer Fire Department, and was a member of the New Jersey State and the South Plainfield Exempt Firemen's Association. His son-in-law, William Mann; his two sisters, Mildred and Jennie Perone; and his four brothers, Nicola, Dominick, Joseph and Louis Risoli, have predeceased him. Surviving are his wife, Rella Diamond (Smith) Risoli; two daughters, Viola Mann of Dunellen, and Antoinette and her husband, Thomas Myers, of Greenburg, his two sons and daughters-in-law, John A. and Donna Risoli of Madison, and Chris and Michele Risoli of Frisco, Texas; two sisters, Selma Dowdy of South Plainfield, and Alice Gubernaut of North Plain-field; and his 11 grandchildren, Billy and Shawn Mann, Victoria Wenzel, Mary Becker, Molly Braffet, Laura and Emily Myers, and Marie, Justin, Joseph and Jenna Risoli.

Also surviving are six great-grandchildren, Noah, Joshua, Lyndsay, Mia, Brian and Nicole. Funeral services will begin at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in the Mc-Criskin Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield South Plainfield, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.

Golcheski 92, died Thursday (June 5, 2003) at home with his family. He was born in Plymouth, the son of the late Joseph and Edna Golcheski.

Mr. Golcheski was a resident of New Egypt for the past few years. Prior to that, he was a resident of Manville for 76 years. He was a supervisor in the quality control department at Johns-Manville Corp. in Manville for 49 years, before retiring in 1974, and he was a member of the Johns-Manville Quarter Century Club.

Mr. Golcheski was very active within the community of Manville for many years. He was a founder and past member of the Manville Fire Co. No. 3.

He served as an active fireman for 14 years and as president of the company for eight years. He was also a member of the Exempt Fireman's Association. He was a Manville councilman for 10 years and a member of the Manville Board of Education for two years. Mr. Golcheski was the secretary of the Manville Board of Health for 27 years.

He helped Helen M. Winchatz, loving HILLSBOROUGH Helen M. Winchatz, 76, died Friday (June 6, 2003) at home. Born in Dickson City, to the late Joseph and Jennie (Ezman) Babinski, she resided in Bridgewater for many years before moving to Hillsborough in 1985. For many years, Helen worked for Acme Supermarket at the Somerset Shopping Center, Somerville Circle.

She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Raritan, and the senior citizens club of the church. Mrs. Winchatz enjoyed her many outings to Atlantic City with the seniors, and loved to entertain family and friends at her home. Arthur J.

Muglia, 65, business industrialist WARREN Arthur J. "Art" Muglia, 65, a noted business in dustrialist, past president of New Jersey Motor Truck Association, and a passionate community leader who held the love of family before anvthine else. I died suddenly on Thursday (June 5, 2003) at the Beaver Brook Golf Club in Clinton Township, after being stricken with an apparent heart attack while playing golf there. Art was born and raised in South Plainfield and lived there before moving to Warren 35 years ago. In 1963, he founded his company was was president of Muglia Enterprises of South Plainfield.

He also held a New Jersey real estate agent license. He was a member and past president of the South Plainfield Business Association and was instrumental in helping develop the business areas of South Plainfield. His passion for helping his South Plainfield community was exemplified through his efforts and donations in establishing the former train museum in the center of town. His passion of life and for helping people was manifested by his support of the Peapack-Glad-stone-based Matheny School and Hospital, for mentally and physically handicapped individuals. Through Art, the New Jersey Motor Truck Association annually raised thousands of dollars to aid the Matheny School.

He enjoyed his hobbies of golf and had a passion for flying and model airplanes. He had been a private pilot, flying out of Solberg Airport in Readington and had been a member of the West Jersey Fliers Club. He had built a quarter-scale B25 World War II bomber, which is currendy displayed at the Teterboro Aviation Museum and he founded and headed the World War II model airplane club, "91 Bomb Group," which meets monthly at the Ready Room in Warren. The club meets in remembrance of the significance of the pilots, crews and planes that helped lead the way to World War victory. Most of all, Art was a most loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

On June 4, the day before his death, he and his wife, Matty (Abraham) Muglia, celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Deborah Wise and Cheryl Lizotte, both of Colorado, and Margaret Mor-bee of Florida; his son, Arthur J. Muglia Jr. of Roselle Park; three brothers, Joseph P. Muglia of Hilton Head, S.C., Robert A.

Muglia of Middlesex, and James D. Muglia, DDS, of Fairfield; and his nine grandchildren. Funeral services will begin 11 a.m. Tuesday in the McCriskin Home For Funerals, 2425 Plain-field South Plainfield. Interment will be in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.

Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Matheny School and Hospital, P.O. Fortunate 70, Korean War veteran SOMERSET John P. Fortuna-to died Thursday (June 5, 2003) at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. He was 70 years old. Mr. Fortunato was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Marlboro, Edison and East Brunswick, prior to moving to Somerset in 1992.

Mr. Fortunato was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Fortunato was employed by New York Shipping Association and International Long Shoreman's Association as a checker and a container engineer.

Soon thereafter, he was employed by St. George Warehouse in Kearney as an account manager. He retired in 1997. For Fortunato was an avid sports enthusiast. He also enjoyed the culinary arts.

He is predeceased by two brothers, Alfonso and Surviving are his wife of 18 years, the former Irene Bjork of Somerset; two sons, Joseph Fortunato and his wife, Sandy, of Old Bridge and Erik Prano of Texas; two daughters, Susanne Yates and her husband, Mark, of Hillsborough, and Victoria Marsh and her husband, Brian, of Middlesex; a brother, Peter Fortunato of Florida; a sister, Lucy Fortunato of Florida; and five grandchildren, Kimberly, Eric, Ashley, Sean and Brian. Services will begin at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday from the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Somerset, followed by a 9 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church, Somerset.

Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Queens, N.Y. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 U.S.

Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902. JoannYannotta.68, loving mother NORTH PLAINFIELD Joann Yannotta, 68, died Thursday (June 5, 2003) at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. Mrs. Yannotta was born and raised in Portland, and lived in Green Brook before moving to North Plain-field 13 years ago. She retired as a material handler from Revlon Cosmetics of Edison.

Her husband, the late Emilio Yannotta died in 1994. Surviving are her son, Joseph B. Yannotta of Franklin Park; three daughters, Toni Marshall of Somerville, Tina Yannotta of Palm Bay, and Tracy Yannotta of North Plainfield; two brothers, Ronald Wescott of Portland, and Jack Wescott of Whittier, Calif. Also surviving are seven grandchildren. Services will start 9 a.m.
