The report came in at 8:11 a.m. Monday. The box contained about $50. Sauk Rapids police Police received a report from several boys who were walking at 2:28 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Third Avenue South.

The boys said a vehicle went past with three men inside wearing bandanas and goggles. One of the men pointed a cap gun at the boys and shot it Police got the license plate number from the vehicle but could not locate the occupants or owner. Sartell police Police received a report of a business burglary at 7:18 a.m. July 25 at Optifacts Inc 18 Riverside Ave. S. The business was broken into and a Dell Inspiron 2650 laptop computer, three Compaq Evo N620c laptop computers, a Kodak C300 silver 3.2 MP digital camera, a Sony VPL-CX70 projector and a black leather carrying case for the projector were stolen. On July 26, police received two vandalism reports.

The first was at 10:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of Troop Drive. Residents of south-central Minnesota were cleaning up Wednesday after a line of heavy storms moved through the region overnight, knocking out the power and wrecking farm buildings.
