Other survivors include one brother. Ronald Dwayne. and one sister Patricia Lynn, both at home, and maternal grandmother, Mrs Dorothy Bagrich of Sophia.

The body is at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton. Lelia Burgess LEWISBL'RG (RN'S) Services for Mrs. Lelia A. Burgess, 88, of Washington, D. formerly of Lewisburg, will be at 11 a.m.

Friday in the Calvary United Methodist Church with the Rev. Louis B. Simmers in charge. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs.

Burgess died in a Washington hospital at 10 a.m. Tuesday after a long illness. Born in Richlands. near Lewisburg. Aug.

17. 1888, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Sally Crookshanks Burgess. Mrs. Burgess was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Richlands. Coleman, both of Route 1, Scarbro: two sisters.

Mrs. Thelma Ingle of Bradley and Mrs. Ruby Scott of 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

Rpophpr cdcucl i8, of Clearwater, formerly of Raleigh County, died at 2:20 a.m. "Wednesday in the Morton F. Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Fla. following a long illness. He was a retired employe of the Kesey Hayes Company in Detroit, Mich.

Born March 15, 1909, in Olive Hill, he was the son of Samuel Cassity and Zannie Riddle Cassity. He is survived by his wife. Frances Miller Cassity of Clearwater, three sons, Gary of Detroit, Roger of Largo, and Cletus Frederick of Los Angeles, one stepson, Alan Canady of Brushnell, one Nancy Duppee daughter, Miss Carla K. Cassity of Clearwater, six brothers, Eddie and Charles of Crab Orchard, James of Mabscott, Frederick of Coal City, Kenneth of Anaheim. Calif, and Allie of Detroit; three sisters.

Mrs. Leila Bennett of Waverly, Ohio. Mrs. Marceline Tabor of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Mrs.

Louise Shuckel of Detroit. The body is being returned to the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home. Moore was a Baptist, a retired coal miner, timberman and a member of the United Mine Workers. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gladys Kinder Moore: four daughters, Mrs. Thelma Woodrum and Mrs. Anna Hensley, both of Seth, Mrs.

PhiUis Davis of Cool Ridge and Mrs. Beulah King of Whitesville; six sons, William Lacy Homer Cook Ridge Funeral Home in Sophia. Mrs. Nancy Duppee, 93, of Rhodell, died at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Beckley Hospital following a long illness.

The body is at the Williams Blue Ridge Funeral Home in Sophia. Christine R. Hall Funeral Parlors at Hinton with the Rev. James Simms in charge. Burial will be in Greenbrter Burial Park at Hinton.

Shirey died at 4 a.m. Wednesday hi a Hinton hospital of an apparent heart attack. Born at Hinton, Jan. 1,1916. he was a son of the late Hubert and Rosa Bostic Shirey.

A retired security officer at the Pentagon in Washington. D. Shirey had lived most of his life in Hinton, was a member of the Four Mile Baptist Church, veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife. Virginia Wiseman Shirey; one son.

Ralph G. Jr. of Alexandria, and one sister, Mrs. June Connor of Hinton. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m.

Thursday. Guy F. Sinar HINTON (RNS) Services for Guy Franklin Sinar. 73, of Richmond, formerly of Hinton. will be at 11 a.m.

26. 1905, he was a son of the late John T. and Nora Meadows Shumate. A veteran of World War having served with the Navy, Shumate was a retired merchant and carpenter, a member of the Fairview Baptist Church at Forest Hill and John Dove Masonic Lodge 78 of Peterstown. Survivors include his wife.

and Hattie Phipps Wiseman. He was a coal miner, a past employe of Ihe Pittston Coal Company at Wyco before his retirement. He was a resident of MacArthur for the past 30 years, coming from Bolt, a member of the UMWA Local 7086 District 29, and local 6110 of Wyco. Mr. Wiseman previously worked at Glen Rogers and was a lifetime member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No.
