Previous to -the local club luncheon, Mr. Hovey met the officers'of the club for consultation and discussion of plans for the work of the year. At luncheon he was introduced H. H. Griswold and giving- some most interesting facts in to the International Convention at San Francisco, spoke of elements of success business life.

'A in the thoughts presented were: "Real happiness conies from service to others;" "Success comes from doing- a lot of little things well;" "Learn to work and like it when you are young;" "Teach a boy to work and then educate him; "When there is something worth while to be done, come in and volunteer, don't wait to be asked;" "Do the best-you- can and don't worry about what you can't help." Phone 104 NAPLES Ontario County's oldest resident observed her 104th birthday today at the home of her son William H. Housel in Naples.

She is Mrs. Eliza Ann Housel, well known in this vicinity and the Middlesex Valley. She was a friend of the late Mrs. Marion Williams, of Middlesex', who lived to be 102 years oid. It was the custom for a number of years for these two aged women to share their birthdays.

Mrs. Housel was born in Mendon. Auaust 5. 1834. and her parents made the trip to Naples in a cart when she was five years old.

On her 102nd birthday. Mrs. Housel received a letter of congratulations from President Roosevelt. No special plans were made for- the occasion of her 104th birthday. Despite her years, Mrs.

Housel devotes some of her time to sewing raid knitting. She enjoys three substantial meals a day and on Sundays, she listens to the radio sermon. She is the oldest member of the Naples Presbyterian church having- joined that organization in 1853 and is a charter member of the Millard Missionary Society. Mrs. Housel has one daughter.

Miss Caroline Housel and a son. William H. Housel. of Naples; one sister. Mrs.
