He underwent back surgery Monday. Lawrence Malloy was admitted to the Anderson County Hospital Saturday. Spending Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Platt to celebrate their 29th wedding anniversary were Mr. and Mrs Edward Platt and children, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Platt and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hermann, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Platt, Mrs. Jane Setter and E. E. Platt. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Gordon and children, Novato, Calif., were here last week visiting their grandmother Mrs. Nellie Gordon and aunt Mrs. Sarah Hale. Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Porter have received word that their daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Van Velson, Compton, Calif., has been released from the hospital where she was treated for a heart ailment. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Reichard, Williamsburg, are parents of a son, Dairn Wayne, born Saturday in a Wichita hospital. Dr. and Mrs. Leonard Sullivan Food Smith, Ark., are parents of a son Steven Lee born Saturday. Both babies are grand-nephews of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Reichard, Richmond, and grandsons of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Reichard, Williamsburg, formerly of Richmond vicinity. Merle Feuerborn, Kansas City spent the weekend with his par ents Mr. and Mrs. Henry Feuerborn. Elden Sechrest Harrisonville, Mo., was here Friday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Lee Metze. Mrs. Sechrest spent the day with her mother, Mrs. Josie Atchison, al Princeton to celebrate her 88th birthday. Frank Rocker was dismissed from Anderson County Hospital Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Pickert have received word that their granddaughter, Carolyn, infanl daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Pickert, is being treated for bronchial pneumonia at St Mary's Hospital in Kansas City To honor family birthdays in January and February, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schwegman enter tained at a turkey dinner Sun day evening.
