As It is, all it needs is a coat of paint and some minor repairs.

What the school wants to do is maintain Phyllis Wheatley as an elementary schools, send its junior high students along with those now at Apopka Memorial about 1,000 In all to school in a series of temporary, portable classrooms to be placed on the playground of Dream Lake Elementary, which already has 800 students. There would be inadequate lunchroom play ground facilities for the total of 1,800 students. NEGRO CITIZENS have done a great deal to upgrade Phyllis Wheatley, despite the school board.
