When all three ladies played by Joan Wilson, Cathy McDougall and Cynthia Hanks, are housed under one roof, the housekeeper, Gail Poland, is fatigued and near collapse from watching this activity. Not so is Bernard's friend, Robert, portrayed by John Davis, who stays to watch the maestro at work. Curtain time is 8:15 p.m. during the 3-night run, March 28, 29 and 30.

He pointed out tfrese auxiliary are "strictly volunteers," and purchase all their own uniforms and supplies, use their own time for any training, and are "back up" men for the regular police. DURING HIS short time in office, Hennigan feels he has accomplished much and is especially pleased with the cooperation received from other departments. He is also pleased with the village council, saying he feels council is aware of the growing crime problem in the state, and is doing "everything they can" to provide equipment and supplies.

In his six weeks in office, Hennigan reports North Orlando has been involved in four felony suspect arrests and one death in addition to the usual traffic violations and patrols. He would like to see the residents comply with the dog ordinance better than they have been and would like to educate the people to the dangers of excessive speed on the village streets because of the many preschoolers. All in all, Hennigan feels North Orlando is "a good town with good people," and is proud to be the town's police chief. Bring Your Car The By Mary Ann Campbell NORTH ORLANDO -Since becoming North Orlando police chief February 5, Thomas Hennigan has been a busy man. Consuming much of his time has been the establishing of a complete and up-to-date filing system for the police department Previously, all police actions in the village were reported on complaint forms.

Now, Hennigan reports, the department has offense ts, supplementary forms, traffic violation forms, death reports and new complaint forms which are card indexed for easy filing and reference. ALL THESE forms and reports are installed in a brand new filing cabinet, puchased by the council for 520, and installed in Hen-nigan's home, sometimes referred to as the North Orlando police station. Another addition to the department has been a monitoring unit for VHF L-SJC Taking Applications LEESBURG Applications are now being received by the admissions office of Lake-Sumter Junior College from those students who plan to attend L-SJC Fall Term which begins Aug. 30. For instance, we got into a so-called okra and. tomatoes can purchased from a well-known chain supermarket. The okra was so tough we couldn't eat it and there was only a trace of tomato to be found.

It looked like the tomato was dragged through with a string. The supermarket people gladly refund you. But wh's going to rummage around in the garbage can to find a container? It's the same way with a steak supposed to be tender, but which is so tough you can't get a fork in the gravy. We wonder how they ever kill such a tough steer, unless they wait for it to die of old age, or use an atomic blast. J.
