The Colt ground game has gained 265 more yards than Cleveland's, but the Browns' passing game has picked up 470 more yards than Jones and company. The Colts have only one injury of note. Safelyman Lyle Blackwood is out with a pulled hamstring.

The Browns report that offensive tackle Doug Diekcn, who was helped off the field in the Chicago game with a knee injury, will start in order to keep his string of consecutive games, now 138, intact. The Colts and Browns have met nine times in the regular season and three times in playoffs. One bright note, however, is that McCall has been making some key catches recently and is now considered a sound receiver. "We probably wouldn't be starting Butler," said McCormack, "if we didn't have Bert at quarterback."
