Mi 4 ii 4 I If I i i 1 'ft COCOA "Construction Is proceeding on schedule and our new theater should be open by late February or early March," said Bill Rollerson, Cocoa manager for the Kent Theater chain. The Pines Theater, a deluxe, first-run house, is being built at a cost of $200,000 in the Pineridge Shopping Center on Dixon Boulevard. The Kent chain operates 27 theaters in 12 Florida cities and will have five in Central Brevard when the Pines opens in the spring.

Included in its local operations are the Barn, State, Merritt Island Outdoor and Vanguard Drive-In theaters. The walls and ceilings will be acoustically treated.

This, together with the latest stereophonic equipment, will give patrons the most realistic sound obtainable. "Cinemascope, anamor-phic and regular picture lenses are to be used to project the newest and finest films available," said Rollerson.
