Cloud. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at St. Benedict's Convent Chapel. Burial will be in the convent cemetery.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Scholastica Convent and after 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at St.

Benedict's Convent. Sister Caroline Eckroth was born Jan. 18, 1916, in Mandan, N.D., Louis and Hattie (Grunenfelder) Eckroth. She entered St. Benedict's Convent Sept.

10, 1933, and made her final vows July 11, 1938. She was an elementary teacher for 38 years at schools in Mauston and Altoona, Little Falls, Watkins, St. Cloud, Collegeville, Eden Valley, Meire Grove, and Sauk Centre. She served as the Right-to-Read director at Melrose, librarian in Red Lake and teacher aide in Hutchinson. She retired to St.

Scholastica Convent in 1989. Survivors include her brothers, Gabe, Ellendale, N.D.; the Rev. Richard, Collegeville; Edward, Portland, the Rev. Leonard, Strasburg, N.D.; Charles, St. Joseph; Antony, Mandan, N.D.; and sisters, Louise Brounty, Strasburg, N.D.; Sister Louista, Bismarck, N.D.; and Marie, Louthan, Chehalis, Wash.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and one sister. Alma Hiltner, 89, St. Cloud Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Daniel Funeral Home for Alma M. Hiltner, 89, formerly of 41 Third Ave.

NE, who died Saturday at Talahi Care Center. The Rev. Simon Bischof, OSB, will officiate. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Parish Cemetery, Collegeville.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home in St. Cloud. St. Augustine's Christian Women will pray at 4:30 p.m.

She married Bernard Hiltner June 9, 1930, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waite Park. She lived in Collegeville most of her married life, moving to St.

Cloud in 1971. She was employed by St. John's University, Collegeville, for more than 40 years. She was a member of St. Augustine's Catholic Church and Women.

Survivors include three grandchildren; and sister, Mary Alt, South St. Paul. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dec. 13, 1963; son, Willard, Oct. 29, 1984; and sisters, Louise Rassier, Margaret Lake and Anna Reed.

Memorials are preferred. J.P. Hufford, 65, Hawick HAWICK "Jim" Hufford, 65, died Saturday at his home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at Hawick United Methodist Church. The Rev.

Bart Fletcher will officiate. Burial will be in Roseville Cemetery, near Hawick. Military rites will be provided by Belgrade VFW Post 1825. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home, New London, and one hour before services Wednesday at the church.

J.P. Hufford was born Feb. 7, 1930, in Gary, to Paul T. and Genevieve (Carr) Hufford. He was a U.S.

Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and spent some time in Germany. He married Marguerite Wilson Feb. 17, 1953, in Gary, and graduated from Indiana State University in 1955. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Indiana for 10 years. He joined the FBI in 1964 and worked as a special agent in New Orleans, Miami, and Minneapolis.

He became the resident agent in St. Cloud in 1981. He owned and operated Lost Valley Gallery, a picture framing business, for 10 years and was a member of Hawick United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge of Gary, the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI and a life member of the National VFW. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Julie Larson, Bloomington; Beth Champlin, South Haven; son, Paul, Willmar; mother, Gary, sister, Paula Kimmet, Gary, and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by his father.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Rice Memorial Hospice. Edward Jarmusek, 87, St. Cloud Edward J. Jarmusek, 87, formerly of 529-16th Ave. died Sunday at St.

Benedict's Center. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dingmann Funeral Home Chapel, Sauk Rapids. The Rev. Eugene Doyle will officiate.

Friends may call one hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home. Edward Jarmusek was born Feb. 3, 1908, in St. Anna to Agnes (Vaska) Jarmusek. He lived in St.

Cloud most of his life and was employed by Franklin Manufacturing for 40 years, retiring in 1973. He was a member of Grand Lodge of International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. Survivors include a cousin, James Jarmuzek, Grey Eagle. He was preceded in death by his mother. Pallbearers will be James, Joan, Stephanie, Sheila, Laurie and Jesse Jarmuzek, and Lynn Henkemeyer.

Miller, Albany; Marcella, Holdingford; Quirren, Dalton, Mary Haney, North Brook, Leova J. Schultz, Sauk Centre; and Doreen Solberg, Michigan City, Ind. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joseph and Leo; and sisters, Helen and Odelia. Pallbearers will be Michael and Tom Schultz, Chris and Linda Klug, Mark Miller, and Peter Wahlstrom. She married Harvey Krause June 23, 1921, in Maple Grove. They farmed in Corcoran for 45 years and moved to Maple Grove in 1966. She moved to Paynesville four years ago. Stanley Larsen was born Sept. 30, 1918, in Stavanger, Norway, to Jakob and Ingeborg (Pedersen) Larsen. He married Oda Helberg Dec. 21, 1946, in Hetlands Lutheran Church, Stavanger, Norway. He immigrated from Norway in 1952 to Min.

neapolis, where he was employed as a mechanic for Northside Mercury. He retired in 1983. He moved to St. Joseph in 1990 and was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, St. Joseph.

Survivors include his wife; daughter, Reidun Hanson, Minneapolis; son, Sveinar, St. Cloud; sister, Lilly Undem, Sandes, Norway; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. Pallbearers will be Kristian and Erik Hanson, Caldwell Gordon and and Wilbur Bradley Wilkens. Jasmer, Joseph Memorials are preferred.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Rollin, Sartell; Steven, St. Joseph; Michael, St. Cloud; Dennis, at home; four grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Stanley, Danube; Adolph, Fridley; Lois Blair, East Helena, Delores Rahrlien, Maple Lake; Gloria Johnson and Emil St. Cloud; and Betty Keller, Coon Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents.

She then worked for Federal Cartridge, Anoka, for 15 years, retiring in January of 1989. She was a member of First Congregational Church and Glendorado VFW Auxiliary. Survivors include son and daughter, Kevin, Braham; Debra Stottler, Princeton; mother, Milaca; brother, H.G. "Bubs," San Diego, and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1972; stepfather; and a grandson.
