L. B. The letter from "Jim" Craig, published in last week's Tri-County News was intended by its writer for W. L. instead of Louis N.

Bowman. However, I enjoyed the letter as did also Gus Stevens, now employed on the Tri-County News, who was then, 34 and 35 yearn ago, employed on the old King City Democrat. We both remember Jim Craig. This article is beinjg written, Monday morning, June 18 and thirty-five yeans ago and about this time in the morning 10:15, Stevens was busy printing announcements of the birth of Louis Nelson Bowman. I am not real eure what I was doing at that time.

It was a day of rejoicing at the Bowman home however and congratulations were coming in fast and furious. I am glad that Jim Craig has been successful and I hope he may some time before long visit King City. Many of the older folks that he knew have long since gone to their reward, however, he will find a few of them here yet and probably quite a number, of about his age and one who graduated in the Class of 1900 with him, Mrs. Dollie S. Knight Louis N.

Bowman was only a year old when Jim operated the ink roller on the old Allen hand cylinder newspaper press in the Democrat print shop, so of course does not remember Jim Craig. i Only a few months ago. I saw a ville Holeman and family. Mr. and Mrs.
