Berry also tied again in the standing broad jump, at 9 ft. 2 in. Duncan of Albany, and McCoy and Roberts also proposed a toast to the Mr. Brandt was left with nothing but hie nightclothes, although Mrs. Brandt, and Marion saved enough to keep them warm.

JOSEPH PRESBYTERY CLOSES GOOD MEETING HERE Big Church Dinner Is Feature of Conference The St. Joseph Presbytery, district organization of the Presbyterian Church, U. S. closed its three-day session here yesterday with a big din ner for the visiting delegates, ministers and members of the local church, in the church basement. The meeting opened Tuesday afternoon.

The dinner, at noon, was followed by several short talks by visitors, who M. B. Watson of Albany, formerly of King City, died Saturday in a St. Joseph hospital after a prolonged Illness. A blood transfusion opperation was performed a week ago, but to no avail.

The blood of J. F. Randall of Albany was used. Mr. Watson was at one time in the poultry and produce business here, and will be remembered by many friends.

Mr. Brandt said it could hardly have started- from a stove or chimney as there had been no fire in the house for more than twelve hours.
