THE SALINA JOURNAL MONDAY, OCTOBER 7, 1996 7 * FAMILY FROM PAGE 6 The oldest woman was Anna Mae Hayden, 94. The longest married couple was Marlin and Dorothy Schrader, 60 years. Newlyweds were Levi and Lisa Menke, 9 months. Youngest girl was Karlyn Graise, 10 months old. Youngest boy was Gaige Menke, 3 months old. The couple coming the farthest was Roger and Anna Meester of Port Orchard, Washington. The next meeting will be August 31,1997 at the Senior Center in Cuba, Kansas. The Valek family will be the host. The 1998 reunion will be September 6, 1998. The host will be Normand Hrabe, Gene Hrabe, and Dorrine Dix children of Frank and Laura Hrabe and Vesta Russell and Venita Cole children of Thomas and Esther Hrabe. Ohio, Salina The Salina Symphony Guild appreciates very much the help given to their recent Book Mart by the people of Salina, Many fine books were contributed to the sale and from the time the Book Mart opened on Friday until the announcement on Sunday "AH the books you can carry for one dollar" sounded, the hall bad buyers checking the tables. The proceeds from the sale go to scholarships for area music students in the summer music camps. Approximately $1800.00 was taken in at the sale.
