July 2, 1992 St. Cloud (Minn.) Times 3D Rocker's humor helps teens cope Moe, Radical Life Support to perform at Wilson Park I 'A If you like your music with a message, then listen up, because Rick Moe and Radical Life Support have a knack for delivering both. Through rock 'n' roll music, Moe and his support staff of musicians and artists talk to teens about the issues they face daily. They cover everything from relationships and self worth to alcohol abuse and peer pressure. But the music is so fun, and at times, Moe is so funny, audiences seldom feel like they're being lectured.

Moe, who has performed at more than 250 high schools in the United States and Canada, says he is out to do just one thing "rescue a generation." Youth For Christ is sponsoring a visit by Moe and his RLS band from 1 to 10 p.m. July 9 at Wilson Park. The event also includes volleyball and Softball. The concert coincides with the opening day of the Wheels, Wings Water Festival, but it is not an official WWW event. However, since the festival doesn't exactly cater to young adults, it's a chance to spend the day with friends in the park and learn a thing or two in the process.

Admission is free. Fourth of July fun As always, local fireworks will take flight over the Mississippi River in Wilson Park. Show time is dusk Saturday. And don't forget the radio WJONWWJO will play patriotic music during the display.

The St Cloud Municipal Band is kicking off the Fourth of uly early with a concert at 8 tonight at Bar-den Park. The program theme, of course, is patriotic music. So it's no surprise that much of his comedy act focuses on the demise of the love generation. Wiggins and his love beads team up with David Maxey for shows at 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Scott Hansen's Comedy Gallery in Charlie's.
