Tho second contest Wednesday wight will bring the Rotarlansi and Veterans of Foreign Wars together. The Vets won their only stftvt of the season so far. The Rotnrlans, expected to be a strong contender, have lost two straight They aro capable of better ball ana anay give the Veterans all they arc looking for. The Friday schedule Is topped the Airport-Fcileral contest, other game of the night will bring the Athletic club and the Legionnaires together. The Athletics have broken oven in two starts, while the Legionnaires dropped tholr only contest, Mrs.

Caldwell, Harlingen ne- gro, was bound over to the federal grand jury in $250 bond here Tuesday when given an examining trial before S. Commissioner K. Goodrich on charges of possessing liquor. He was brought here following a raid on his home at Harllngen, The raiding officers testified that they found a quantity of mescal in the home.

Caldwell said on cross-examination that he thought the liquor was corn whiskey. The cult members, seven of whom are held in jail for the murder, are members of the victim's amily. It is believed 'the aged woman was killed when she sought to prevent the sacrifice of six girls, also members of the family, who had een selected by the cult leader as virginal victims.
