Legal Notices NOTICE Notice Is hereby given of the (Ming on September 21, 1971, with the Federal Communications Commission by Nation's Center Broadcasting Co., Inc., of an application to modify the construction permit of Station KWBW-FM, 102.9 megacycles, Hutchinson, Kansas, to specify effective radiated power of 100 kilowatts, antenna height above average terrain of 1059.5 feet, and transmitter location on Fourth Avenue, 9.12 miles east of Main Street, Hutchinson. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of South Hutchinson, Ks: Section 1. Authority to Invest: Ten* porarlly Idle moneys of the City of South Hutchinson, Kansas, not currently needed may. In accordance with the procedure hereinafter prescribed, be Invested In direct obligations of the United States Government or time deposit certificates, which mature within one (1) year from the date of purchase of the same by the City, and which are guaranteed as to principal by the United States Government. The provisions of this ordinance shall not apply to any fund of the city, the Investment of which Is expressly authorized or limited or prohibited by statutes of the State of Kansas. Section 2. Procedure and Restrictions: The City Clerk and City Treasurer shall periodically report to the governing body as to the amount of moneys available for Investment and the period of time such amounts will be available for Investment, and shall submit such recommendations es Is deemed necessary for the efficient and safe management of city finances. The recommendations of the City Clerk or City Treasurer shall provide for an Investment program which shall so limit the amounts Invested, and schedule the maturities of Investments so that the City will at all times have sufficient moneys available on demand deposit to assure prompt payment of all city obligations. The governing body shall determine by resolution the amount, method and term of any Investment, and the type of investment to be made, subject to the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. Custody and Safekeeping: Securities purchased pursuant to this ordinance shall be under the care of the City Treasurer of the City of South Hutchinson, Kansas, and shall be held In custody of a state or national bank or trust company, or shall be kept by such officers In a safety box of the City In a bank or trust company. Securities In original or receipt form held in the custody of bank or trust company, shall te held in the name of the City and their redemption, transfer or withdrawal shall be reported to the city governing body. Securities not held In the custody of a bank or trust company shall be personally deposited by the City Treasurer In a safety deposit box In the name of the City, In a bank or trust company. Section 4. Sale or Transfer: If, in order to maintain sufficient moneys on demand in any fund, as provided In Section 2 of this ordinance, It becomes necessary to transfer or sell any securities of such funds, the City Treasurer may transfer said securities to any other fund or funds in which there are temporarily idle moneys, or shall sell such securities, and 'or such purpose, he -hall have auth- orlly to make any written directions, endorsements or assignments for and on behalf o* the City.
