Fnlth Oriranlr.atlon. The Apostolic Faith organization baptized fifty subjects today at Beacham Springs. This new sect has been holding meetings at Bryan Hall for six weeks, and has made many followers. They claim to represent tho true faith practiced and preached by the Apostles, and they claim to do many wonderful things. Among the things that they claim to be able to do Is to heal the sick and to speak in strange tongues.

One of the characteristics of the religion is that they do not solicit donations nor take up collections. They depend on volunteer donations. For the baptizing today they had special street cars and one was decorated with streamers with scriptural quotations on it Large crowds went out to witness the baptizing. Dr Charles F. Parkham, the propounder of the faith, is going away this week, but some of his followers will hold a meeting at Brunner.

Dr. Parkham will returnJn a. short time, when he will open a meeting at the Auditorium, which the Houston Electric Company has offered to let him have for that purpose. A church probably be established here, and a. building will be arranged for.

To Improve DrlvlnR Park. There is to be a. meeting Monday evening of the Houston Driving Park and Race Association at which matters started at a meeting last night will be taken up and pushed through. The principal matter will be a report of the program committee. Among other things it was decided to widen the race track at the Houston Driving Park about fifteen feet in the home stretch, making it fifty-five feet In width.

Tho track will be inclosed by Inner and outer railings and a high board fence will be erected about the entire park. A new grand stand will he erected adjoining the present grand stand and will about double the capacity. In addition to this, a judge's stand, saddling paddock betting shed pnd a jockey room will likewise be erected. The stables will likewise he increased by about 150 stalls. At the session last night a racing committee was appointed and clothed with power to arrange tile program for the Houston meet.

The personnel of the racing committee is as follows: Henry Lahourcade C. Woods, J. Edmundson and Bob Barker. Whatever you drink outside, let your home beer be Schlitz. That is pure beer.

No bacilli in it nothing to make you bilious. Beer is a saccharine product, and germs multiply rapidly in it. The slightest taint of impurity quickly ruins its healthfulness. We go to the utmost extremes to prevent that. Cleanliness is a science where Schlitz beer is brewed.

We even cool the beer in plate glass rooms, in nothing but filtered air. Then we filter the beer. Then we sterilize every bottle. And Schlitz beer is aged. The beer that makes you bilious is green beer.

When you order beer for your home, get the healthfulness without the harm. Get a pure beer get an old beer get Schlitz. Phone 454 Jns. A. Hayes 2025 Strand Galveston Ask for the Brewery Bottling.
