mta. 18 Bodies Found In Train Wreck EVANSTON, Wyo. MV- Three i more bodies were pried from the shredded wreckage of two sleek passenger trains yesterday but; the death toll more than a day after the collision remained at 18. Snow once more began whipping across the darkening rescue camp where workmen continued to hack through stacked wreckage. Seventeen bodies had been taken from the tangled steel; IB of them identified.

The last was removed as darkness began to fall. It was badly mangled and its identity even its sex was unknown. Work-i men could see one more body! pinned under the cold steel of what once had been a roach. Portions of other bodies could be glimpsed under the layers of torn metal, but workmen said those might be portions of bodies already removed. The collision occurred in a howling snowstorm.

The easthound City of Angeles, running ten mmuies aneaa Francisco, halted at a block signal three miles west of this southwestern Wyoming town. Both Union Pacific trains already were behind schedule. The City of Ran Francisco thundered on through the storm and sheared into the rear of the halted train. More than a hundred persons were estimated to have been hurt. Most, however, suffered minor injuries, were treated, and continued on their way.
