By Charlie Wadsworfh Sentinel TV Editor Yot One Not Three But Six Channels Because of the area's TV setup, it's going to take a little time to properly align the respective network programs. Because of this, Ch. 9 has scheduled three movies a day, starting with a series of former Academy Award winners. So, all you have to do now is remember which channel is carrying your favorite program. You won't have time to sit back.

You'll be too busy jumping up and switching the dial to relax. BY THIS time, you probably are fully aware that we now have not one, not three but no less than six television channels being beamed our way. WLOF-TV's sign-on yesterday not only became the sixth area channel but also completed the network cycle. The new station, on Channel 9, is the only American Broadcasting affiliation around. The other five find three CBS outlets (Ch.

6 in Orlando, 13 in Tampa and 4 in Jackson- ville) and two NBC stations (Ch. 2 in Daytona Beach and 8 in Tampa). The advent of ABC Ch. 9 is going to be felt in more ways than one. It spells out an immediate shifting of programming.

For instance, that perennial men's favorite, the Wednesday night fights, shifts from Ch. 6 to 9 in three weeks. And both 6 and 8 will lose all of their Lawrence Welk programs to Ch. 9 next month. Circus Boy and Zorro are two other shows that will have to be moved to 9 inasmuch as they all are ABC productions.

Of great interest to many viewers will be the return on Monday nights of The Voice of Firestone, winner of the Sentinel-Star's first poll In addition Ch. 9 is rounding out the area programming with several other programs either highly regarded or highly controversial, such as Mike Wallace, Sid Caesar, Patrice Munsel, the Red Foley Show on Saturday nights and that rating champion in the children's category, Mickey Mouse. The one big network feature that won't be seen is the Frank Sinatra Show, the sponsors of which, incidentally, very quietly have begun selling portions of the disappointing series to other sponsors, the first indication that a leave-taking may be in the works.
