He was a retired carpenter and had been a resident of this area for 67 years. He was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by his wife, Hattie Baumgardt; a daughter, Jo-Sherry Jones; three sons, Forrest E.

Baumgardt Jr. and Tommy Baumgardt, all of North Fort Myers, and Jesse W. Baumgardt of Surrency, two sisters. May Miller of Jacksonville and Esther Blount of Fort Myers; an aunt, Margaret Hudson of Clearwater, 15 grandchildren and two great-granchildren. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.

He was a veteran World War 11 and was a member of American Legion Post 135 in Naples. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jonell Spicer; two daughters, Michele Spicer and Pamela. Wheeler; four sons, Donald W. Spicer, Richard D.
