BARNETT NOVEMBER 19, 2006 Virginia Barnett, 81, of Fort Myers died November 19, 2006 under the compassionate care of Hope Hospice. Born May 23, 1925 in Nutter Fort, West Virginia, she was a devoted food service. worker for 28 years, most recently at Lehigh Middle School. She was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Lehigh Acres.

Virginia is survived by her husband of 64 years, Cecil, 2 sons, David (Diane) Barnett, Ronald (Diana) Barnett, 1 sister, Leona (Lynn) Hudkins, 1 brother, William Russell (Lettie) Bell grandchildren, and 9 She was preceded in death by a son, William L. Barnett. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 11 AM from the chapel of Lee Memorial Park Funeral Home. Lee Memorial Park 334-4880 COURTNEY LYNN CAHILL NOVEMBER 17, 2006 Courtney Lynn Cahill, 28, a Fort Myers native, passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 17, 2006. Courtney attended Bishop Verot High School and was employed as the Office Manager and legal secretary to Geralyn Noonan, Esquire. Courtney is survived by her parents, James M. and Judith H. Cahill, and her brother Curtis John.

She also leaves behind her grandfather, John J. Jack" Helms (Patricia); peter loving Couture, fiancee, to whom Christo- she devoted; aunts Janet Duffy (Brian, Shaun, Shannon), Joan Schwartz (John, Samantha), Jacquelyn Streets (Cole, Jack), Sharon Larabee (Larry, Rob, Mike (Amy, Katie) and Vince (Gretchen); and countless friends. Courtney treasured her family. Courtney was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert K. Cahill and (Wanda Shipp) and Daphane Cahill, grandmother Mary B.

Helms, and cousin Nash B. Streets. A memorial service honoring Courtney's life will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 11 AM at Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord, 8121 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33919. NOVEMBER 14, 2006 L.E. Cotton, 92, a resident of Cape Coral since 1989 and a retired City of Miami Fire Department Lieutenant and a Private Yacht Captain died at home on November 14, 2006. In 1926 Mr. Cotton moved with his parents from LaGrange, GA to Miami where he attended Senior High School. During his 28 years the City of Miami Fire Department he was injured fighting the Miami Herald fire.

He was recognized by the Coral Gables Country Club Flee in 1983 with the Commodore Award as outstanding fleeter. L.E. was involved with a failed attempt to rescue prominent Cubans from Havana following the overthrow of President Batista. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, the former Alene E. Weidele of Miami, a son, Gene Cotton of Fort Lauderdale, two grandsons, Rod Cotton of San Jose, CA and Randy Cotton of Miami.

Also surviving are his brothers Ralph L. Cotton of Miami and Dr. William R. Cotton of Potomac, MD. Arthur Schopenhauer FORT ROBERTA CURRY NOVEMBER 16, 2006 Roberta (Mu) Curry, 71 of Cape Coral, FL went home to be with the Lord on November 16th, 2006. She passed after a brief illness under the loving care and watchful eyes of her daughter at Hope Hospice. She was born February 8th, 1935 in Palmetto, FL to Richard Ella Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Joe Curry, 5 children, Myrtle Solomon, Phyllis Salter, Rosalind Riggins, Iris Jiles and Bruce Epps. 8 Stepdaughters, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 5 brothers, 3 Sisters and numerous family members friends.

FREELAND NOVEMBER 19, 2006 Janet R. Freeland, 71, of Fort Myers died November 19, 2006. She was born in Union Town, PA, a daughter of the late Frederick and Virgie O'Neal. Janet moved to Fort Myers from Baltimore, MD, in 1980, she enjoyed making beaded jewelry, doing arts and crafts, playing bingo, but most of all she enjoyed being around her family. Mrs.

George Weinberg LOUIS JAMES HARVEY NOVEMBER 18, 2006 Louis James Harvey, 87, of, Fort Myers, surrounded by his family, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, November 18, 2006, after an extended illness.

Louis was born Feb. 25, 1919 in Sanderson, Baker Co, Florida, the son of the late John Richard and Hattie "Doley" (Daniels) Harvey. He was raised in Labelle and Fort Denaud, Florida by his Grandfather, William Hampton Daniels and his Aunt Flossie Daniels. Louis served in the Army Air Core from Aug. 6, 1941 to Nov.

10, 1945. After serving his country, Louis worked his own ice route for about five years before going to work for the Florida State Road Department as an Engineer Tech 4. Louis retired after 30 years with the State surveying and inspecting roads and bridges in Collier County. On May 14, 1943 he married Ella K. Horne, and she survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Frank (Dianna) Harvey, and Rod Harvey; one daughter, Judy (Max) Perez; 9 Grandchildren, Greg (Megan) Harvey, Cherrie (David) Consiglio, Dawn (Ted) Haas, Frank (Shelly) Harvey, Kevin (Marcia) Harvey, Stephen (Beverly) Harvey, Gayle (Rich) Heckman, Duane Cullum and Harvey; 19 Great Grandchildren, Daughter-in-law, Joan Harvey; and many Nieces and Nephews. Louis was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri L. Harvey; son, granddaughter, Roger E. flarvey, Harvey and four brothers, John Palmer Harvey, John Richard Harvey, Billy Crawford and James Bennett Crawford. After retirement Louis enjoyed gardening, family, friends and especially his grandchildren, he walked many a mile just carrying them in his arms around the yard.

SUSAN ADDINE (STOKES) LANCASTER NOVEMBER 18, 2006 Susan Addine "Stokes" Lancaster, born 1910 in Felda, Florida went to be with the Lord November 18, 2006. She lived most of her life in Felda. She was a Charter Member of Felda Baptist Church.

She was active in the Order of Eastern Star in Immokalee for many years. was on the Election Poll in Felda for many years. She was loved and respected by her church and community. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Lancaster, two children Helen Joyce Shoults and Bernard K. Lancaster, granddaughter Susan Hoover, two sisters Carman Townsend, and Nita Rimes, three brothers Allison, Frances, and Lester Stokes.

She is survived and truly missed by two daughters Lois and (John) Dail, Virgina A. Dail, two sons Thomas and (Frieda) Lancaster, Norman and (Janice) Lancaster, 17 grandchildren, 26 greatgrandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, and a sister Virginia L. Boney. Friends will be received on November 21, 2006 from 6-8 PM at Akin-Davis in LaBelle. Services will be on November 22, 2006 at Felda Baptist Church at 3 PM.

Madeleine L'Engle JOHN MACIE NOVEMBER 18, 2006 Papa John 91, was a loving and caring father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He was always a gogetter who never let any dust settle on him. John was a WWII US Navy veteran who served as a Fireman First Class and diesel mechanic in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater on a submarine.

A machinist by trade John worked for Chandier Evans in West Hartford, Connecticut for 14 years. The rest of his working life was as a mail distributor for the USPS until his retirement in Cape Coral, Florida. John was avid golfer his whole life who is teeing it up right now with all his old playing buddies. He survived his three wives: Dorothy Burr, Helen Albrecht, and Audrey Hauser. His is survived by his: daughter Nancy (Richard) Pringal; Stepdaughters Beverly (Jim) Traa and Audrey Finson; Step-Son James (Lu) Hauser and Julian (Deliea) Albrecht; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be November 21, 2006 at Funeral Home in Cape Coral at 8:30 am. catholic. will follow at 10:00 am at St. Andrew Church in Cape Coral with internment afterwards at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers John requests that you spend time with your family and loved ones.

MARK LOUIS PERSONS NOVEMBER 19, 2006 Mark Louis Persons, 45, of Fort Myers, away November 19, 2006 after an extended illness. He was born in.
