a a a a CENTRAL FLORIDA EDITION Orlando Sentinel Friday, April 25, 1958 Obituaries Baldwin, Pioneer In Area, Dies Mr. H. C. Baldwin, 75, 428 S. Lake a pioneer Orlando resident, died Thursday at his home after a long illness.

Born in Plymouth, Mr. Baldwin moved to Orlando in 1910 from Stamford, Conn. He retired five years ago after a lifetime in the plumbing business. He was a member of the Orlando Masonic Lodge, the Wesleyan Men's Bible class, and the First Methodist Church. He and his wife would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in December.

Surviving are Baldwin: Mrs. Lula Strickland two sons, Henry Winter Haven, and Ernest Orlando; three grandsons and two granddaughters. W. Guy Black Home for Funerals is in charge. MR.

JORDAN R. BRANT, 74, Haines City, died at a Winter Haven hospital Thursday. Born in Pennsylvania, Mr. Brant was a resident of Hammond, Ind. He came to Haines City as a winter visitor in 1947 and bought the Brant Hotel and Motel.

He was active in the real estate business in Hammond and was head of the J. R. Brant real estate developers. He was a 32d degree Mason and a member of the Orak Shrine Temple of Hammond. Survivors include, two sons, J.

Walter Brant and Arthur J. Brant, both of Hammond, two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy M. Thompson, Hammond and Mrs. Helen Chapman, Philadelphia, Pa.

Dave Lane Funeral Home is in charge. MR. J. C. NOBLE, 60, Fort McCoy, died Wednesday night at a Lake City hospital.

Mr. Noble, a dental technician, moved to Fort McCoy five years ago from Tampa. A native of Punta Gorda, he was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are three brothers, L. D.

Citrus Co-Op Faces Charge LAKE WALES (P) The district director of the National Labor Relations Board said yesterday he will charge the Florida Citrus Canners CoOperative with refusing to bargain in good faith with the Teamsters Union. The union began a strike against the co-operative plant here 14 weeks ago but plant has continued to operate. The NLRB director, Harold Boire of Tampa, said the charge must be proven at a hearing, probably this summer, before any action could be ordered against the big processing firm. It the charge is upheld the company will be ordered to give jobs back to the striking workers.
