The Beam son of the late Georgeithis and Rosanna Robinson country 55 years ago and lived Scotch Plains Christian Lam-i bertsen of Edwin PL, retired chief inspector for the Elizabeth-town Consolidated Gas Company.

died Saturday (May 9, 1959) in Overlook Hospital, Summit. He was 63. Mr. Lambertsen was the father of Dr. Christian J.

Lambertsen of Ardmore, now serving on the faculty of the medical school of the University of Pennsylvania, who was cited by the U. S. Army for inventing an underwater lung used during World War 2. A daughter, Dr. Eleanor Lam bertsen of Chicago, is engaged in Consultant, research and policy- making work for the American Hospital Association.

She holds the title of assistant secretary. A former director of nursing at Overlook Hospital, she assisted in organizing a medical center in Brazil, and served eight years as a professor in charge of Columbia University Teacher College's program for nursing administration. She is the author of books on nursing education. Mr. Lambertsen retired three j'ears ago as chief inspector of the Elizabethtown Consolidated' Gas Company after 40 years' service.

A native of Fan wood, he had lived in the Fanwood-Scotch Plains area all his life. He was known as a former semi-pro baseball player and an outstanding bowler. Active in civic affairs, he formerly served as a member of the Special Police and with the Park Department. Also, surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna Ponzio Lambertsen, a daughter, Mrs.

Florence J. Nico-lais of Milford; a son, Herbert L. Lambertsen of Naugatuck, a brother, James Lambertsen of Fan wood; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Stephens of Scotch Plains, Mrs. Arthur Force of Somerville and Mrs.

Howell Day of New Market, and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Rossi Funeral Home with the Rev. George L. Middleton, pastor of Scotch Plains Baptist Church, of ficiating.

Burial will be in the family plot in Hillside Cemetery. Alexander Kennedy Sr. Lebanon Alexander Kennedy 77, formerly of Plainfield, died yesterday in Hamilton Nursing Home in New Brunswick. A native of Broxburn, Scotland, he was educated at George Watson's Boys College and Edinburgh University. He came to the unuea Mates in 1906 and was for many years an auditor with Barrow, Wade and Guthrie in New York.

He moved to Plain- field in 1943, living at 914 Ken-yon Ave. He was a member of a Masonic lodge in Brooklyn. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Margaret Huber of North Plain- field; two sons, Dr. John Kennedy of Baltimore and Alex ander Kennedy Jr. of Montclair, both formerly of Plainfield, a i Clearwater, a sister, Mrs.

Elizabeth Steel of Leicester, England, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Bright Funeral Home, 120 Main St. with the Rev. F.

L. VanSteen, pastor of the Messiah Lutheran Church, of Plainfield, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Clinton. Mrs. Sarah Hitschler Dunellen Mrs.

Sarah Hitsch-ler. 90, formerly of 309 N. Wash- inctnn Alt Hied vstprHjv nf a The Plainfield Rescue Squad and police were called to the Moment home at 2:16 a.m. and Dr. Moment was pronounced dead by the family physician shortly thereafter.

He had been in failing health for some time. Served 30 Years Dr. Moment was minister of the Crescent Avenue Church for nearly 30 years before his retirement in January, 1948. He was then named pastor emeritus of the congregation. He was the author of the book "Faith in Christ" and of numerous pageants, hymns, anthems and magazine articles.

Dr. Moment was born in Orono, Ontario, Canada, on Feb. 1, 1875, son of the late Robert and Sarah Wightman Gairdner Moment. He was graduated from Princeton University in 1896, receiving an A. B.

degree with high honors in philosophy and mathematics. He received the B.D. degree from Hartford Theological Seminary in 1906 and' the D.D. degree from Washington and Jefferson College. Honorary Degree In 1947, Dr.

Moment received the honorary degree of Doctor of Divinity from Princeton. He continued his activities with the alumni of his alma mater even as an octogenarian. William Honachefsky of Clinton. Dr. John Lincoln, Hunterdon County Physician, listed pnuemonia as the cause of death. A native of Poland, Mr. Hona chefsky came to the United States in 1912 and was employed for 35 years by the Taylor-Wharton Iron and Steel Works prior to his re tirement eight years ago.

He Mad lived alone since the death of his wife, Mrs. Anna Sawchyshyn Honachefsky in 1956. Surviving are three sons, Wil liam of Clinton; Philip of Brook lyn and John Honachefsky of Hampton two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Stawinski of Eliza beth; Mrs. Mary Gringal of Linden; and a sister, Mrs.

Helen Ray-bak of Brooklyn and 10 grand children. services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Naugh- wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Lyman H. Seamons, pastor of High Bridge Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Ever green Cemetery in Clinton. Mrs. Peter Arenobine Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Rita Arenobine, 36, of 270 Steiner who died yesterday (May 10, 1959) at home of 2 long illness, will be held Wed nesday at 8:30 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 W.

Born in Stirling, Mrs. Arenobine had lived in North Plain-field for nine years. She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Joseph's Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Order of the Eagles, Lodge 866. Surviving are her husband, Peter Arenobine; a son, Alfred, at home; two daughters, Carolyn Marie and Cynthia Dianne, both at home; her parents, Mr.

died yesterday (May 10, 1959) in her Summer home at 27 South Carolina Haven Beach, where she had been for two days. She had resided in North Plainfield 22 years. She was born in Brooklyn 58 years ago. Mrs. Campbell is survived by her husband, Archie Campbell She was a staff aide with the American Red Cross, Plainfield Chapter.

Services will be held in the Memorial Funeral Home Wed nesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Roland R. Ost, pastor of the Wil son Memorial Church, Wat- chung officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery.

John J. Moment the First Presbyterian Church, East Orange, from 1906-1908; associate minister of Bergen Re- ied Church, Jersey City, from 1908-1912; and pastor of High Street Presbyterian Church, Newark, from 1912-1918. He also taught in the Lawrence-ville School, as master of the Upper House, from 1898-1904. 1st Sermon in 1918 Coming to Plainfield from Newark, Dr. Moment preached his first sermon in the Crescent Avenue Church on Dec.

22, 1918. During his pastorate the present edifice was constructed alter a spectacular fire had destroyed the former church in 1931, and the church celebrated the 100th anniversary of its founding on March 21, 1944. Dr. Moment was a former presi dent of the Plainfield Ministers Association. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Ameri can Association for the Advancement of Science.

Dr. Moment married Clara Louise Cross of East Orange in 1908. The Monnents, who had a Summer home in Kents Hill, and had travelled exten sively, observed their golden wedding anniversary May 21, 1958. One of the couple's sons, Lieut, (j.g.) Robert Moment of the Navy Air Corps, was killed in a California plane crash in May, 1945. Dr.

Moment is survived, in addition to his widow, by two daugh ters, Mrs. Reade H. Ryan of Darien, and Mrs. Walter S. Douglas of 1796 Fernwood Lane; one son, John Moment of 411 Tappan seven grandchil dren; a brother, R.

Frank Moment of Falmouth, and a sister. Mrs. Frederick S. Coe of Belleville. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the A.M.

He was 70. Born in Hungary, he came to here for the past 35 years. Ln til his retirement five years ago, he was employed as a toolmaker in the Hougland Co. here. He was a member of the Ger man-Hungarian Society of New ark.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Szellenscik Heidinger; three sons, Alfred J. of Berkeley Heights, Anton of Gillette and Thomas J. at home; four daughters, Mrs. Marie Hahn of Pres-cott, Mrs.

Josephine Coffey of Summit, Mrs. Julia Black of Whitehouse and Mrs. Louis Davis Bangor, Maine; a sister, Mrs. Josephine Fortenbacher of Newark, and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held tomorrow from the Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, 7 Summit Summit, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m.

Anna E. Rupp, 81, of Lebanon RD, widow of the late James N. Rupp, died yesterday (May 10, 1959) at Foothill Acres Nursing Home, Neshanic. Mrs. Rupp was barn in Jersey City, daughter of the late Ernest and Elizabeth Hollways.

She had lived at Lebanon RD since 1920 and also in New York City. Her husband died in 1943. She leaves a daughter. Miss Edith Rupp, with whom she lived. She also is survived by a brother, Herman Hollways, of Valley Cottage, N.

Y. Funeral services will be conducted in the Holcombe Funeral Home, Flemington, tomorrow at p. with the Rev. Bruce Op- sahl of St. Paul Lutheran Church officiating.
