Reports were given by the various other committee heads. Fred Koenig, treasurer and in charge of tickets, reported the Auxiliary of the Plainfield Rescue Squad is selling tickets and will be given 50 per cent of the sales money toward its building fund. Tickets also may be obtain ed from any member of the Pros- ceniums or bought at the door. The cast comprising Mrs. Roy Sandquist, Miss Vanita Klotz, Joseph M.

Greenwood and Arthur C. Hawkins, is rehearsing three times a week, coached by Mrs. Greenwood. The play is of the flash-back memories of a man who fled his home, deserting his widowed mother and slightly crippled sister, and depicts the causes of his desertion. L. McCorison D. performed the ceremony, which was followed by a reception in the Monday Afternoon Club, Plainfield. The bride, escorted by her father, wore a gown of ivory satin made with a fitted bodice with a scoop neckline edged with heirloom lace. Her illusion veil was held by a net tiara embroidered in 'seed pearls with lace trimming.

She carried carnations and roses. The attendants were three sisters, Miss Marlowe H. Seltzer, who was maid of honor; and Miss Daryl V. Seltzer and Miss Kay M. Seltzer, who were bridesmaids.

Steven Smetusek of Hightstown was best man. Ushers were Theodore Seltzer, brother of the bride; Richard Reilly of North Arling-j ton, Paul DeBoer of East Orange and Roger Bentley Jr. of Hightstown, cousin of the bridegroom. The bride was graduated from Westfield High School, Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, and Tobe-Coburn School of Fashion, New York. She formerly was employed in the office of National Tool and Manufacturing Company, Kenil-worth.

Haver, 851 Berkeley Ave. The Rev. Robert G. Longaker performed the ceremony and a reception followed. Given in marriage by her father, H.

Stilwell Clapp of New York, the bride had as her matron of honor her sister, Mrs. Peter H. Lyons. Mr. Haver was his son's best man.

The bride wore a gown designed with a Chantilly lace bodice, off shoulder pleated illusion neckline and a full nylon tulle skirt She also wore lace mitts. A crown of seed pearls held her fingertip length veil of illusion- and she carried white orchids with stephanotis. Mrs. Haver is a graduate of Southern Seminary and Junior College, Buena Vista, and Corporal Haver is an alumnus of Washington and Lee University, Lexington, Va. After a trip south they will reside at Camp Lejeune, N.

YM' Council Maps Program Somerville Through the cooper ation of Somerville High School officials a Program Council of the Somerset Valley YMCA has been organized to include representatives of each class in the High School. At a recent meeting in the YMCA, nine young people met with Herman Richards and Kenneth E. Morris, officials of the Board of Directors, to discuss the needs of youth and to explore the possibili ties of an expanding range of ser vice programs to be sponsored by the YMCA for youth of this area. The Program Council, in cooper ation with the YMCA, will sponsor a series of dances for High School age youths beginning early in Mar. The Council also favored the or ganization of purposeful clubs and 'recommends the use of the YMCA recreation parlors for special in terest groups and informal play I activities.

The announcement was made recently at a family dinner given by Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Zell of 82 Vanderveer brother-in-law and sister of Miss Marmelstein. Miss Marmelstein is an alumna of Bound Brook High School and Packard Junior College in New York City.

She is employed by Rutgers University. Mr. Pelovitz attended Somerville High School and Rutgers University, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Ursinus College. Col- legeville, Pa. He served with the Army Korea and is employed in the Finance Department of Johns- Manville.

Co-Op School Meeting Set C7 A mid-winter orientation meeting for parents of children attending the Plainfield Cooperative Nursery School will be held tomorrow at 8:30 p.m. in the school's new quarters in the Lincoln School building, 209 Berckman St. Recently moved from Clinton Ave to the more central location in Berckman the nursery school is non-profit, and is run by the parents themselves. The meeting, which is being arranged by the school's two teachers, Mrs. Arthur Harden and Miss Elizabeth Jones, will include discussion of the mother's role in the school.

The organization and administration of the school will be discussed by the officers of the school, with Mrs. Edward Martinez, president, leading the dis cussion. Mrs. Frank Dower and Mrs. Kenneth Mills will be in charge of a social period.

Her floor-length skirt of tulle ended in a chapel train. A cap of illusion embroidered with pearls held her fingertip veil of French illusion in place and she carried butterfly orchids and stephanotis. Miss Donna Evelyn Colby, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a gown styled with a strapless bodice of rose velveteen and a full skirt of shades of rose nylon net and a portrait collared jacket of rose velveteen. She car ried a bouquet of deep crimson rosette roses in a crescent shape.

Dressed similarly to the maid of honor in turquoise were the bride-maids, Miss Joedy Brigadoi, Miss Janet Braun and Miss Hazel Knip- penberg, all of Parma Heights, and Miss Mirium Sir Louis, Cleveland. They carried crescent shaped bou quets of miniature pale pink roses. Deborah Brant, Wooster, Ohio, was flower girl. She wore a gown similiar to the maid of honors with a sweetheart neckline. Charles Brant was ring bearer.

Stanley J. Allen, Coshocton, Ohio, was best man. Ushers were David Heinrich, Lakewood, Ohio; Richard Shaw, Cleveland, and Jerome Stevens, Alliance. After a wedding trip to Nassau the couple will reside in Youngs town, Ohio. Mrs.

Boro PTA, Teachers Dance Plans Abandoned The North Plainfield PTA Coun cil and North Plainfield Teachers' Association dinner-dance scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 27, at Far Hills Inn has been cancelled due to lack of interest. According to Russell Tandy, dinner committee chairman, insufficient demand for reservations necessitated the cancellation. The dinner-dance has been an annual affair for the past four years.
