The residents of Smoky Hill Rehab selected her for their Resident of the Month because of her ready smile and her assistance to all the residents. AMERICAN RED CROSS: The Great American Truckers Fair held at Bosselman Travel Center in Salina was host to the mobile coach blood drive held Sept. 19 and 20. Fourteen first- time donors were recruited. A to- tal.of 58 units was collected from visitors, vendors, professional truckers and Bosselman employees. Several of the long-distance drivers expressed their thanks for having this service available. HURLBUT CORPORATION: Twila Dority was selected employee of the month for July by The Hurlbut Corporation and Pump Mart. Twila has been with the company since February 1996. Her cheerful attitude and dedication to the job have earned her this award. According to her Manager, Janet Dreyer, Twila can be her "right hand" any day. Thanks for a ROUND TABLE CLUB: Round Table Club, a secion of General Federation of Women's Clubs of Kansas started the 199697 year with a luncheon at the home of Betty Roy, Falun. Special guests were Sixth District President-elect Helen J. Anderson and District Recording Secretary Nina Wall. Mildred Nelson gave a report of the GFWC International Convention at Nashville, Tenn. Marjorie McAdams, president, and Clara Bruha, secretary, will be the delegates to Sixth District Convention at WaKeeney. Harriet Landon had a display and told of the history of the GFWC emblem.
