Submarine Cochlno exploded and sank "not 'far from Murmask" last month In an American attempt to scout out military Information. (A U. S. Navy statement said the Cochino sank while on a "routine cruise outside of Norwegian territorial waters" on Aug. 26. One member of the Cochlno's crew was lost and six aboard the Tusk, a sister submarine, perished during rescue operations.)
