Cooling power you'll need this summer that BTU's alone cannot provide Arkansas Cafe Bobbed of $700 EL DORADO, June 10 (Special) A cafe located near the I Arkansas-Louisiana state line in I Fedders will stand up against any air conditioner on beat any air conditioner on a BTlTs-per dollar basis, too. But which air conditioner will stand up with Fedders and be counted on the real test of air conditioner performance the ability to cool effectively on all those sunny mid-summer days when an air conditioner has to battle I15degree heat? (They take their readings in the shade too it' 15 to 20 hotter in the sun.) For this reason, Fedders Air Conditioners are engineered manufactured tested to cool effectively when it's 115 degrees outdoors. That's 20' hotter than the standard temperatures at which BTU's are measured. When you select your new air conditioner, it will pay you to look beyond mere BTU's.

In competitive tests against air conditioners with similar BTU ratings, a Fedders pulled room temperatures down, held them down when it was 1 15 degrees outdoors. The other air conditioners tested didn't cool as or turned off automatically to prevent permanent damage from overheating. BTU's? Very helpful fn selecting the right model for your home. Fedders has them galore 50 different models from 7,000 to 19,000 BTU's. Some of them are pretty powerful as you can see.

Like the 1-HP ampere Model 12SS-2 that produces 9,000 BTU's although it uses 40 less electricity. Or the 1-HP Custom Model 13C-3 that offers more than a ton of cooling (13,000 BTU's to be exact). Or the brand new Model 18CS-3 air conditioner that delivers 18,000 BTU These BTU's are measured inside a laboratory at 95 degrees. In the hot sun outside your window where your new air conditioner will operate, however, it will often be 1 1 5 degrees even though the Weather Bureau reports temperature in the nineties.
