The meeting of the Farmers' institute held In the pavilion at this place today was attended by a large and enthusiastic audience. There were about four or five hundred ladies in attendance. The morning session was opened with an address of welcome 'by Hon. J. J.

Fike of this parish with response and introductory remarks by Dr. W. H. Dalrymple, conductor of the Institute. Conductor Dalrymple spoke of the object of the Farmers' institute and laid specil stress on the fact that the Institute did not belong to the institute corps themselves, but to the H.
