Michael Bato, 26, of Shreveport, is charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile. Bato, who managed a Bossier City video game store frequented by chil- Bato dren, allegedly sent a 13-year-old girl 1 more than 50 messages on her MySpace page over a three-day period. After receiving a complaint from the girl's parent, Detective Robert Cocciolone Greer began investigating Bato and posed as the girl to correspond with him. During those conversations, Bato allegedly made sexually explicit comments and stated Howard he was looking for a girlfriend.

His mother literally stood on her Bible when Obie was away from the Lord in his younger days and would claim Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it." God did a wonderful work in Obie's life. He loved going to church and prayer meetings. Obie is now with his sweet mother and father today.

Obie also loved his work at Walmart and loved making a garden every year. He loved people and was very friendly to all. was preceded in death by his parents, Edmon and Eva Mae Thompson. He is survived by his sister, Loria Lee; nieces, Pansy Lee and Pam Lee Houston and husband, Cordell. Also survived by great-nephews, Jeremy, Russell and Dustin Houston and several cousins.
