A USTEST, June the final meet of the Girls' Rifle Club held at the University of Texas, Lliss Sarah Shannon of La Porte was awarded the silver medal for making the highest score. Her score was 70 out of a possible 75. Other girls making good records were the following: Corinne Woods, Austin; Edna Hopper, Welborn, and Xell Nimon, Austin.
