Pointing out that Seal Sale funds contributed by Yates county residents are the association's only financial support, he urged! that everyone who has delayed in answering the Christmas Seal letter do 80 as soon as possible. "As we draw nearer to Christmas day, it la easy to lose sight of the Christmas Seal return velope in the piles of mail," he said. "Yet contribution is our gift our neighbors, to the whole community." Mr. Saager emphasized that Christmas Seal funds pay for specinc tuberculosis control acti- vities for the welfare of the community and the whole nation. They pay for medical research to discover better means of preventing and curing the disease, for health education, for case finding, and for the rehabilitation of patients.

It is indeed encouraging to the volunteer workers who spend many long 'hours recording the returns from the Christmas Seal when they read the many notes sent in with the returns. The most common message is "I wish it could be more. I know what tuberculosis means." For those who volunteer their time and efforts not only during the Christmas Seal sale, but for all the Educational programs, all year round, these little messages their pay.
