Both the Shreveport Regional Dialysis Center and the Willis-Knighton Medical' Center kidney dialysis unit have singlepatient stations.

Three patients died at the Dallas Kidney Dialysis Center after suffering cardiac arrest. Doctors said the central delivery system for the dialysis machine malfunctioned and overheated the blood of the patients, according to the Associated Press. in New Haven, Conn. In 1948. he went to New Orleans with Church, Ward as marine engineer. In 1949, he entered the automobile business in New Orleans and for 22 vear was a Volkswogen distributor, covering the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee, with 68 dealers. For 4 years he was the Porsche and Audi distributor for the some territory, with 14 dealers.

In addition to business affiliations, he was involved in public and civic organizations, to list a few: 8 years, chairman, Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission, Vi years, choir-man of the Housing Authority of New Orleans (rated by federal government as best Housing Authority in United States) 8 years. Her parents were John Henry King and Willie Thomas King Mrs. Campbell attended Kidd-Key College, Breneau College and received a A. Degree at the University of Arkansas. She taught Elocution and Ancient History at Homer High School. Mrs.

Campbell was very active in the Americon Legion Auxilliarv, holding variousofficesonall levels, and was a charter member of the Homer Unit No. 73, in which she had 52 years ot continuousmembership. In 1951, she was elected national president of the American Legion Auxiliary. She organized Louisiana Pelican Girls State and later organized the first Girls Nation. In 1952, Mrs.

Campbell wos elected to serve as Louisiana National Democratic Committee Woman. She was a charter member of Tau Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority ond wos a member of the Homer Country Club, the Homer Country Club Lodies Day, Current Literature, the Pollyannas ond the Women's Department Club. She was also a past president of Women's Federated Clubs and choirman of the Red Cross for seven years. Mrs. Campbell wasa member of the Homer irst Baptist Church.

Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death bv her husband, Dr. E.A. Campbell, a prominent Claiborne Parish physician, and her brother, John Raleigh King. She is survived bv nephews and nieces, John W.

King and Cynthia S. King of Homer, Rolette K. Shinnemon and W.J. Shinneman, of Long-view, Texas, Jack Campbell and Maureen Campbell of Roanoke, Texas; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Florence G.
