There will be a gathering of family and friends in the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church's dining hall, located at 6971 West 70th street, immediately following the burial ceremonies. Mr. Wilson, 32, passed away at Schumpert Medical Center's Grace Home on Friday, September 6, 2002, after a short illness. He was a native Shreveport and a member of the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated in the Caddo Parish school system and attended Louisia- na State University and Louisiana" Tech University.

He resided in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was employed by Scientific Games Corporation as an Operations Manager. He was on assignment in Jamaica when he took ill. He is survived by his parents, Charles L. Wilson, Jr. and Josephine L.

Griffin; an adopted son, Guy Christopher Greely; a cousinsister, Cassandra Mitchell; a grandfather, Isom W. Lockett; a grandmother, Helen Grace Davis; and two great aunts, Lois B. Wilson and Marguerite Wilson. Pallbearers will be: Christopher Lockett, Lorenzo Wilson, Bernie J. Woods, Charles Howard, Bobby Boxley, and Charles Washington.

The family would like to express their deepest and most sincere appreciation to ALL of the wonderful people who made lan's passing easier. She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Halley Mullinax, her sister, Sara Anderson and her (first) husband, Bill Duke. She is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Robert P. Mrs. McGee died Sunday, September 8, 2002 in Dalhart, Texas. Zettie Audrey McGee was born August 17, 1912 in Fisher, Louisiana to James H. and Emma E. (Herrington) McGee.

Zettie was raised in Middle Creek, LA and graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1930. She graduated from Shreveport Charity Hospital School of Nursing on February 25, 1939. She was an Army nurse during WWII and then began nursing in New Orleans and later began a career as public health nurse for the Orleans Parish school district before retiring in June of 1973. In 1998 Zettie moved to Dalhart.

She was a Mardi Gras Princess in the 1930's and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed needlepoint and Crewel Embroidery. Survivors are one brother, John Henry McGee and his wife, Shirley of Natchitoches, LA; one sister-in-law, Maggie McGee of Dalhart, TX; three nieces. Carroline M. and her husband, Sam Methvin of Dalhart.

TX, Linda L. and her husband Wayne Rodine of Salina, KS, Anita McGee of Dallas.TX, four nephews, William M. McGee and his wife, Mingonne of Florien, LA, James G. Magee and his wife Sharon of Florien, LA, John R. McGee and his wife Myra of Natchitoches, LA and Jerry McGee of Natchitoches, LA; eight great nieces and eight great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Jerry C. and Truman M. McGee and one sister, Hettie Johnson. Zettie will be in state in Dalhart on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002 and Thursday.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Aurora Webb; two sisters, Mabel Smith and Aleen Denton; and one brother, John Sherwin Webb. She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, William S. "Bill" Collins; two daughters, Lou Bailes and husband, Rannie of Lewisville, TX, Mary Rood and husband, David of Shreveport; two granddaughters, Sherry Bishop and husband, James of Odessa. Eleanor Tyler BOSSIER CITY, LA Services for Mrs. Eleanor Tyler will be held in the chapel of Boone Funeral Home Friday, September 13, 2002, at 1 p.m. Officiating the service will be Rev. Austin Smith, assisted by Rev. Larry Miller.

Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. Mrs. Tyler passed away September 9, 2002 in Bossier City. She was born on December 15, 1914, in Birmingham, AL.

Mrs. Tyler was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bossier City. She retired with the Overton-Brooks VA Hospital after 21 years of service. Mrs. Tyler was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Bossier 175 and the Mu chapter Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ret. Captain Norman L. Tyler and a daughter Charlotte Elaine Tyler. Surviving her are sisters-in-law: Wilhelmia "Billy" Tyler, Nell Tyler King, Vera S. Witt, nephews: Michael Allen Hull, Donald K.

Mr. Nuckolls was a veteran of the U.S. Army, 4th Infantry, 22nd Division, a member of the Ivy Leaves and the proud recipient of two Purple Hearts. He was also an avid sportsman that enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his second wife.

Donna Daetwyler Nuckolls in 1976; parents, John and Addie Nuckolls; brother, Buddy Nuckolls and sister, Louise Scales. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Nettie Campbell Forrester Nuckolls; sons, Leroy Nuckolls, Jerry Glenn Nuckolls, Craig Allen Nuckolls; daughter, Donna Lee McKenzie; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A private burial service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2002. Officiating will be Rev. Nick Davis ol First Baptist Church. Mrs. Alfred was a native of Shreveport LA and has been a resident of Houston, TX for the past 19 years.

She was a member of First Baptist Church Shreveport for over 75 years. She attended Byrd High School and worked with her husband, Milburne Alfred, well-known photographer and owner of Milburne's Studio, of nearly 50 years. She spent a lifetime in music, beginning as a vocalist on KRMD radio. Through the years she sang in the choir of First Baptist Church, with the Mendelssohn Choral Club, the Shreveport Civic Opera Chorus and the Shreveport Symphony Chorus. She moved to Houston, TX in 1983 to be near her son and his family.

In Houston she did volunteer work for March of Dimes, M. D. Anderson Hospital and Houston Public Library. Mrs. Alfred was preceded in death by her parents.

Phillip Porter Cook and May Ratcliff Cook, her husband, Milburne F. Alfred and her brother, Lorry A. Cook. She is survived by her son, Wayne Gray Alfred and wife, Mary, of Houston TX; granddaughter, Melanie Alfred Renault and husband, Pascal and great-granddaughter, Madeline Elise Renault, all of Chester VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Music Ministry, First Baptist Church.

She died September 10. 2002 in Longview. TX. Mrs. Hicks was a Baptist and a resident of Jefferson since 1976.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Derrell David Hicks: and a daughter. Sylvia Woodell. Survivors are two sons. David Hicks of Manassas, VA and Derrell Hicks of Caddo Lake; five grandch.ldren and five great-grandchildren. 1 Mildred O'Bier Burns SHONGALOO.

LA Services for Mrs. Mildred O'Bier Burns will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, September 13, 2002. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden with Rev. Walter Fred Bailey and Rev. Ronnie Whitlock officiating.

A memorial service and interment will follow at the Old Shongaloo Methodist Church Cemetery at 12 noon. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Minden, LA. Georgia Mildred O'Bier Burns was born May 25, 1914 and passed away September 10.

2002 at Willis-Knighton Hospital, Shreveport. She was a lifelong resident of Shongaloo and a member of Mt. Paran Baptist Church where she served as musician and church clerk. Mrs. Burns was a retired school teacher, having taught first grade at Shongaloo High School for 31 years.

After retiring, Mrs. Burns became an accomplished artist. Mrs. Burns was a graduate of Shongaloo High School, attended Baptist Bible Institute (now New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary) and graduated from Normal College (now Northwestern State University) with a degree in education. Mrs.

Burns was preceded in death by her parents, Katie Adkins O'Bier and Jim Fred O'Bier and her husband, A.J. Burns. Survivors include her three sons, Kerry Oliver Bums and wife, Elaine of Minden; Henry Lee Burns and wife, Lynette of Haughton; A. J. Burns, Jr.

and wife, Jolynn of West Monroe; three sisters. Irene O'Bier Swan of Corpus Christi, Texas; Linda O'Bier Thigpen of Shreveport; Lavinia O'Bier Walker and husband, Truman of Minden; 12 grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; and a host of wonderful friends and former students. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Kevin Bums, David Burns, Al Bount, Jason Bums, Chris Burns, Jamie Burns and A. J. Burns.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Autry Guin; and a brother, Ronnie Guin. He is survived by his father, Charlie Guin of Shreveport, LA; one daughter. Jenifer McCollough and husband, Tommy of Lafayette, LA; two sons, David and John Guin both of Shreveport.
