Hansen and Mr. Robt. 0. Adams, exchanged their marriage vows Tuesday night. Dr.

Ralph C. Waddell, pastor of the Congregational church, officiated at the ceremony performed in the living room at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence P. Woldemar, Mountain View and Grand avenues.

Baskets of spring flowers were in gorgeous profusion in the rooms, creating a garden of bloom. The titian-haired bride was gowned in blue figured silk, made on simple lines with a cape effect. She wore a corsage of Talisman roses. Mrs. Clarence P.

Woldemar, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor, wearing a becoming blue print gown, and corsage of red roses. Mr. Woldemar, brother of the bride, was the best man. and the bride's small daughter, Jeanine Hansen, was the flower girl. She was dainty in a blue silk gown, with a 'matching ribbon tied to her fair hair.

She carried a French bouquet. Mrs. Louise Woldemar, mother of the bride, was gowned in figured silk. and wore a corsage of violets. Preceding the marriage cere mony a dinner was served to the immediate relatives and a few friends at a table covered with a lace cloth, garlanded with stock and huckleberry greenery, and lightednsitha tapers.

Davis of the million testaments campaigns, author of prophetic books, writer for the Sunday School Times, traveler and lecturer, recently returned from the Holy Land, will give a lantern lecture at the Baptist church here Fri day night at 8 o'clock. His subject will be "Rebuilding Palestine According to Prophecy." Mr. Davis has traveled extensively through the Holy Land and is in a position to give hand information on recent unusual developments that are now taking place in Palestine. He will explain how at this very hour there is a delegation in this country from England raising $10,000,000 to transport Jews from Germany to the Holy Land.

He will also explain many events which are taking place at present which, according to prophecy, may have a direct bearing on national life and some interesting facts regarding harnessing the Jordan river, pumping oil through the' desert and taking treasure from the Dead sea. HONOR CARL PLOW ON NATAL DAY Carl Plow, one of the well known young business men of this city, who is in charge of the retail egg sales department in the local plant of the Poultry Producers of Central California, had a birthday Friday and in the evening was surprised by a group of his friends. Mrs. Plow had arranged for the anniversary celebration which was enjoyed by the honor guest and those who feted his birthday. Supper was served and the hours following were spent playing games and enjoying a social time.

A wealth of flowers decorated the country home, with numerous baskets having been gifts from friends of the widely beloved couple. The central decorative motif for the table was a mound of blooms in the deep color tones of yellow and other pastel shades. Many friends who were aware happy occasion extended greetings and gifts to Mr. and Mrs. Kolkmeyer.

Hans E. Hansen (Thelma Brooks). who were recently married, arrived here from Campbell. Santa Clara, county, Sunday to visit with Vogen sen, local businessman and all old friend of Mr. Hansen, who made his home here for many years.

The couple were entertained at a dinner at "The Palms," and met many friends of the bridegroom. Mr. Hansen was formerly with the Polly Ann bak ery onl Kentucky street. Leavhere ho went to Willlts where he remained for a short eventually left for Campbell. where he purchased the "Taste Good" bakery, which he is successfully conducting.

The couple announced their engagement some time ago but kept the wedding date secret, having been quietly married on Feb. 3. The bride has spent much of her life in this city. and is a girl who attracts friends by her sunny personality. Mr.

Schleth is the son of Mr. and Mrs. D. F. Schleth of Liberty district.

He left here some time ago for San Francisco to take a position. ENGAGED COUPLE HONORED AT PARTY A birthday dinner in honor of Miss Clotilde Verdier, brideelect of Mr. Joseph Piro, was given recently at the home in San Francisco of Mr. and Mrs. John Piro, parents of the groomelect.

Miss Verdier is the daughter of Mr. Paul Verdier and the late Mrs. Mariette Verdier of El Verano. The wedding of the young couple will take place in the late fall. Petaluma friends of Miss Verdier will be interested in news of her betrothal and nearing marriage.

COMMANDER DABNER, WIFE ENTERTAIN Commander Jess E. Dabner of Petaluma Post No 28. American Legion. and Mrs. Dabner, entertained few friends at their home Friday night in honor of Mrs.

Dabner's birthday. Supper was served and the young matron congratulated by the guests. In the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Dabner entertained a few relatives, including the parents of the latter.

the cast for the high school play. "Growing Pains," faces dress rehearsals with mingled motions. All signs point to the play being a hit show. together with the dialogue, casting and the scenery, but there is always the unforeseen to meet. To overcome unexpected ohstacles the cast and the director, Miss Shirley Anderson, are redoubling their efforts.

Not only are they anxious to give finished production but they want to maintain the high standard set by the cast of the operetta, "Singer of which the high school department presented in November. That drew a larger crowd than any school affair has done in years and it is hoped that at caparity audience will witness the coming comedy. At the high school Monday a "teaser" presented for the assembly promote interest in was, the play among the students. It was a success and aroused ellthusiasm in the student body. D. ALLEN FETED ON 85TH BIRTHDAY NOVATO, Mar. 85th birthday of Dr. M. D.

Allen falling on Mar. 2, was celebrated Sunday with a family gathering. His daughters, Mrs. H. C.

Steinbach and Mrs. Goldie Ryan, with his grandson, Wm. Ryan, and an old family friend, Mrs. Mabel Caten, came up from Oakland. Another daughter, Mrs.

Jack Le Duke, is staying with her parents at their home on Grant avenue. The doctor, who is making a fine recovery from his reaccident in which he suffered broken collar bone, was ace able to take his first drive in Sunday's sunshine with much enjoyment. Though born in Mississippi, and practicing medicine in Kentucky, Missouri and Minnesota, the doctor has been in active practice in California the past 30 years, the last 12 in Novato. The town joins with his wife, six children and four grandchildren in felicitations on the natal day, and wishes for many happy returns of it. STUDENTS GIVE PARTY AT HOMES, HOTEL Miss Eleanor.

Hopkins and Jack Rollin. Santa Rosa Junior Iligh school students. gave progressive party Saturday night in this city inviting a few of their classmates to enjoy the event. The group enjoyed cards at the home of Mr. and Mrs.

G. F. Rollin on Baker street and later left for the Hotel Petaluma where they danced. Motoring to the home of Miss Hopkins they partook of refreshments. The guests: Margaret Nagle, Alberta Logamarsino, Mary Hastings, Eleanor Hopkins, Dick Hagedorn, Ralph Nagle, Jim Byce and Jack Rollin.

SHOWER HONORS INEZ MORETTI A shower was given at the social hall of the Petaluma Coin honor of Miss Inez Moretti operative Creamery Sunday night whose engagement to Walter Singleton Jr. was recently announced. Her sister-in-law, Mrs. Alma Moretti, was the hostess. The hall was attractively decorated in green which carried out the St.

Patrick scene along with the refreshments served. Dutch whist was played and high scores were made by Mrs. Josephine Mazza, Mrs. Josephine Haynie and Miss Vivian Respini. Miss Moretti received a gift from each guest present.
