John Berchmans Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Mr. Hernandez was called home to be with the Lord on April 17, 1998 surrounded by his loving family, after a lengthy illness. He was a life long resk dent of Shreveport.

He was preceded in death by his Florence Mary Hernandez. He is survived by two daughters, Satumina Robledo and husband, Robert of West Monroe, Grace Caraway and hus- band, Joey of Bossier City, LA; three sons, Joseph Hernandez and wife, Nelda of Shreveport, Bernard, Hernandez and wife, Debbie of Corpus Christi, and Matthew Hernandez of. Shreveport. Also survived by one sister, Nancy Marin, one brother, John -Hernandez and brother in law, Ambrose Lomas, all of Shreveport; fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchil- dren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was educated in Louisiana and taught in both Caddo and Bossier Parish; where she retired. She was an active member of the Fellowship Baptist Church until her health failed. He memories are cherished by her Nieces, great Nieces, great Nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was born in Fordyce, AR and was a lifelong resident of Shreveport. She was a member of the Eastern Star Morningside Chapter, the Red River Quilting Society and the Audubon Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Katherine Nutt. Survivors include her husband, D. E.

White of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Mr. White was a registered land surveyor and a member of the Louisiana Professional Land Surveyors Association, the Arkansas Society of Professional Surveyors, the Texas Professional Land Surveyors Association and was professionally active in the Shreveport-Bossier area for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Clark White and Kathryn W. White of Shreveport. Mr. White was a Vietnam veteran, earning a Purple Heart. Mr.

Minogue died Wednesday, April 1 5 1 998 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was bom in Chicago, IL and wfs a resident of Benton, LA. Gene retired as a SSGT, USAF and attended Central Assembly of God Church. F. Minogue was involved in th6 brokerage business for over 30 years.

Gene received his CFP (Certified Financial Planner) from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, CO. He received his degree in finance from Northwest Missouri State University and recently won the Outstanding Accomplishment Award for Excellence irvfinancial Planning Knowledge. He went to teach bookkeeping and accounting for the USAFI Institute. He served as a meteorologist while on ac-tive duty in the military and later became a Jcensed, commercial pilot. He has served as President, Treasurer, and Chairman of the Board for the local chapter of the International Association ofinancial Planners.

Gene has also served on the Steering Committee for Easter Seals. He was a member of the National Society of Tax Professionals arfd the International Association of Financial Planners. Gene has written numerous articles on taxation and financial planning. He has been guest teacher and guest speaker at local high schools and civic clubs. Gene accomplished the "Old American Success Story' through strong commitment to continuing education and unparalleled personal service to many satisfied cliants.

Many clients will remember him astheir tax preparer. Dr. Everett Doerge passed away on Friday, April 17, 1998 in Shreveport, LA. He was a native of Port Arthur, TX and a resident of Minden, LA since 1 943. Dr. Doerge was retired Assistant Superintendent of Webster Parish Schools.

He served in many capacities of the education system for 34 years. He was Louisiana State Representative, for District 10. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Jewel Doerge, and a brother, George Leonard Doerge. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jean M.

Doerge of Minden; daughter, Mrs. Sherie Doerge Lester and husband Kevin of Minden; two grandsons, Justin Henry Lester and Jacob Everett Lester, both of Minden, LA; one brother Julian F.
