in the process of remodeling iremen said workmen were cutting a section of pipe in the rear of the building when some cork insulation in a near by wall caught fire and smoke began to spread through a crawlspace in the structure The fire was extinguished with slight damage to the 1 area for over 35 years before moving to Bigfork Mrs Thompson was member Lutheran Church of Bigfork She was preceded in death by her parents two brothers one daughter and three grandchildren She is now survived by her widower Earl at the family home on Sylvan Drive Bigfork two sons Clarence and Ronald Thompson both of Los Angeles The Spanish Civil War start ed in Spanish Morocco under the leadership of Gen ran cisco ranco in 1936 It spread to Spain itself and continued until March 28 1939 when ranco was named chief
