E. E. 1 Funeral Rite For Mary Pietrini Funeral were conducted at 10:30 this morning services, at the Mount chapel for the late Mrs. Mary Pletrini who died Sunday at Hayward. The rites were lawn section Hill Mefoliowed by in the ainterment morial Park beside her daughter, Theresa, who passed away three ago.

Rev. R. Orman Roberts, pastor of the Methodist church of Petaluma of- which- Mrs. Pietrini had long been a member, officiated at the services. Organ hymns were rendered by Mrs.

Evelyn Paye. Numerous floral tributes came from friends. The pallbearers were H. C. J.

E. Penry, C.F.D. Burmester. C. E.

Skoe, George Van Bebber and L. L. Wallace. Arthur W. Parent directed the funeral.

McGOLDRICK RETURNS FROM SACRAMENTO District Attorney Charles McGoldrick returned yesterday from Sacramento where on Monday night he attended a legislative meeting. As a member of the legislative committee of the California District Attorneys' association he appeared to oppose a bill modifying the present conspiracy statutes. He was stricken suddenly ill after laying carpets in a downtown restaurant dining room that had been sprayed with a powerful 'solvent and insecticide. Coroner Silvershield and District Attorney Charles McGoldrick were to conduct the hearing.

Investigation by the coroner's or office since Fry's death has revealed that everal others who worked in the place on the day the spray was used were made ill, one violently, the coroner said. Page Three 'Ghost Bandit' Captured After a 24-hour hunt, Wilfred Lee Crenshaw, 24, former Sonoma county "ghost bandit," who escaped Monday night from the California Institute for Men at Chino, was captured by state highway patrolmen near Gorman, on the Ridge Route out of Los Angeles. He held up a Riverside liquor store and obtained a dozen of whiskey, then stole the car in which he fled northward.

The state officer spotted the stolen car and gave chase, but Crenshaw ignored their siren. Bullets from the gun of Patrolman E. S. Nettleship finally burst the tire and the car careened down a 100-foot embankment. Crenshaw was dragged from the wreckage unhurt.

He will be returned to Chino, officers said. He was sent to San Quentin, and later to Chino, from the Sonoma county superior court following four holdups and more than a dozen burglaries. He also was accused of cashing forged checks.
