Darnell BURKBURNETT, Texas Services for R.O. "Bozo" Darnell will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Owens-Brumley. Darnell, 69, of Burkburnett died Friday, Sept. 12, 1997.

He was a former resident of Pineville, La. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn English Darnell of Burkburnett; six sons, Robert Darnell of California, Raymond Darnell and Brandon Darnell, both of Wichita Falls, Rubin Darnell of Fort Worth, Gregory Darnell of Burkburnett and Bradley Darnell of Amarillo; one daughter, Shayla Darnell of Burkburnett; two sisters, Meran Darnell and Ann Darnell Manning, both of Boone, N.C.; 11 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Winnfield Funeral Home. Hobdy, 68, of Winnfield died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 1997, in Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He was a deacon at Saline Grove Baptist Church in Calvin and a veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include one daughter, Mignon Hobdy of Kansas City, two stepdaughters, Charlene Jackson of Landover Hill, and Jeraldine Webb of Minden; one brother, James E.

Mrs. Porter, 78, of Youngsville died Thursday, Sept. 11, 1997, in her residence. She was a native of Lecompte. Survivors include her husband, Weston J.

Tibbitt, 85, of Anacoco died Friday, Sept. 12, 1997, in her residence. She was retired from Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport after many years as a nurse's aide. She was a native of Vernon Parish and a member of Beech Grove Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Ledith Marie Harvey and Jackie Dee Cryer, both of Anacoco; one sister, Evelyn Parham of Ragley; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was the owner of Central Louisiana Telephone Communications. Survivors include his wife, Nicole Lucas Belt of Marksville; one son, Alec Colby Belt of Marksville; his parents, Sheriff William Belt and Carol Lamartiniere Belt, both of Marksville; his stepmother, Tracy B. Belt of Marksville; paternal grandparent, Gary Mayeux Belt of Marksville; maternal grandparents, Harrison and Mable Lamartiniere of St. Francisville; and one sister, Melanie B. Bennett of Marksville.

Cole, 82, of Alexandria died on Friday, Sept. 12, 1997, in Regency House. She was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church where she served on the Altar Guild, the VOCALL, and was a past choir member. She was past guild officer in the Matinee Music Club, as well as past secretary of the Community Concerts. She was a sustaining member of the Alexandria Junior League, a member for 33 years of the Gray Ladies Volunteers of the American Red Cross and a charter member of the Deep South Garden Club.

She was a charter member of the Alexandria Golf and Country Club and served as chairman of the Ladies Golf Association.
