Funeral services will be held Wednesday in Lynn, for Art Spinney, a member of two NFL championship teams with the Baltimore Colts. Spinney was a public relations official for the Massachusetts Port Authority from 1974 until he died of a heart attack Friday at Union Hospital. He was 66. Spinney played left guard for the Colts for eight years, including the championship teams of 1958 and '59. SOCCER: Naples team reaches final The under-19 team from Naples tied three games to reach today's final in the Seminole Invitational in Altamonte Springs.

On Saturday, Naples tied South Florida Select of Miami as Chris Welling scored two goals on assists from Tony Bertolotti and Rod Rinaldi and the third goal went off a Select player. Naples then played Olympic of Winter Park to a 2-2 tie as Bertolotti scored on an assist by Dwight Morgan and Mike Locker converted a free kick. Naples tied Cutler Ridge 3-3 on Sunday, getting goals from Locker, Morgan and Rinaldi. The team will play an undetermined opponent for the championship at 10:30 a.m. today.

HORSE RACING: Colt sweeping Japan Narita Brian won the Japan Derby by five lengths In Tokyo, putting the heavily favored 3-year-old colt one victory away from sweeping Japanese horse racing's triple crown. Narita Brian, a son of 1988 Florida Derby winner Brian's Time, extended his winning streak to six. His career record is eight wins, one second and one third in 1 1 starts. The dark bay colt won the first triple crown race, the Satsukl-sho, In April, setting a course record of 1:59 over the IVi-mlle turf course. The third race, the Kikka-sho, will be in November.

Twining remained undefeated with a victory over stablemate Lahint in the Grade II Peter Pan Stakes at Belmont Park in New York. Not nominated for the Triple Crown series, Twining is not eligible for the Belmont Stakes on June 1 1 and will have to wait until later to challenge the rest of the year's top 3-year-olds.
