Indianola Hi School Athletes Recognized I NDIANOLA Awards and special recognition were given to Indianola High School athletes in the Activities Assemble heru Fririnv. Delta Democrat-Times Greenville, Miss. Thursday, May 19, '66 9 Activities Assemble heru Friday. Jerry Steed rccieved the Most Valuable Football Player award and the Most Improved award went to Bill Bradley. The Most Valuable Baseball Player award was presented lo Jim Watkins.

Most Vnluabla awards In other sports went to Butch Reginelli and I.inJa Yarbrough in basketball, Danny Rochelle and Judy In track and Vernon Beard, Jr. Mary Hartwell Ely in tennis. Trophies won by the athletic teams during the school year were presented to the school. Coach Bobby Stacy was awarded plaque in recognition of his being selected Delta Valley Conference Coach of the Year. Each year the Athletic Depart- presents first-year leltermen 'with letters, second-year lettermen with miniature balls or track shoe and third-year and fifth-yea lettermen with certificates.
