"NEWS-PRESS GULF COASTING, FRIDAY, APRIL 21, 1989 9 it's just another crazed killer stalking nubile summer campers. But, this time, there are some truly creative killings and interesting plot twists. A must for gore buffs. $9.98, VT. "A Touch of Class" (1973). Glenda Jackson won an Academy Award as Best Actress for playing a divorcee whose ship passes in the night with a married, yet lonely, American (George Segal). What re sults is one hilariously complicated romance. $9.98, VT. "Taxi Driver" (1976). Martin Scorsese directed Jodie Foster (1988 Oscar winner for "The Accused") to her first Oscar nomination. Here, she plays a 12-year-old, drug-addicted prostitute who becomes the object of a deranged taxi driver Robert De Niro's obsession. One of the most passionately, but not sadistically, brutal films ever. $9.95, GT. 1 " Welcomes to its staff 1 k CARRIE LOWE J ' LA PLAZA 1682 Colonial Blvd f Fort Myers j . 1 47 1 si D PRIME RIB Heston, Gloria Swanson (her last film) and, of course, George Kennedy co-star. $9.95, GT. "Class" (1983). How dull of an actor is Andrew McCarthy? Well, dull enough to make co-star Rob Lowe look like an Olivier in this one: the story of prep schooler who unwitting beds his roommate's mother (Jacqueline Bisset). It's dumb but fun, and given a big boost by the presence of its stars. $9.98, VT. "It Should Happen to You" (1954). Talk about potential: Judy Holliday every film should have one was still hot from winning her 1950 Best Actress Oscar for "Born Yesterday," Jack Lemmon was making his film debut and legendary George Cukor was directing. Enough said that potential was fulfilled. This comedy is a scream, about an actress (Holliday) seeking publicity by plastering her name all over New York City billboards. A true video collectible. $9.95, GT. "Sleepaway Camp" (1984). A shockingly good slasher film, if you use the relatively fine first "Friday the 13th" as a measuring stick.
