Deborah Allen, Stephen Bishop, Laura Branigan, James Brown, Michael Damian, Ronnie Oio, Lita Ford, Lee Greenwood, James Ingram, Grace Jones, the Kids from "Fame," B.B. King, Quiet Riot, REO Speedwagon, Sylvia and Pia Zadora are among the celebrity presenters who will announce the winners in 15 AVA categories.

"Live" performances bv New Edition, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, and Moe Bandy Joe Stampley will highlight the taped event. Casey Ka-sem hosts the gala event, along with co-hosts Lisa Hartman and Herbie Hancock. All performances were taped at the 1985 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in the Astrodome.
