Salinger Sees As'Reckless LOS ANGELES (UPI) A 'reckless fearmongering" charge was aimed at GOP senatorial candidate George Mur- Wednesday by his opponent Sen. Pierre Salinger. In a prepared statement issued by Salinger's campaign headquarters here while the senator is on a two-day tour with President Johnson, Salinger referred to a Murphy comment he said was made Tuesday at a Burbank, Rotary Club meeting. Salinger a i his opponent contended that the Soviet Union is introducing long-range nuclear missiles into Cuba and then later said, his authority for the charge "was something I read somewhere." The senator said two columnists reported -June 1 that the Widow Of Late Postmaster Dies Mrs. Helen P.
